Interesting that when he owns 6% he can be bothered to add an extra 100k; it would appear he deliberately wanted to go above 6%. I wonder if he was at the AGM….

Who is Michael Stubbs? There are lots of M Stubbs, however it might just be a coincidence that Michael B Stubbs MD is an American Cardiothoracic surgeon, anyone got any thoughts!!

Nice to see Michael Stubbs has added another 16,000,000+ shares since Mar 2020, and now hold 6% of the issued share capital, if that's not positive I don't know what is, onwards and upwards..

It was all positive and price should go up strongly over next few months. Have checked in with a couple of people who know what they are talking about and, if they are smart and avoid being unlucky, there is a decent chance of FDA approval before end of this year. The executive team impresses. Far too many NEDs and they look well passed sell by dates. No idea what value they think they add and can't see downside risk of a clearout MrC

Yes that is what was said yesterday and the chances are it will be launched whatever the result. They know it works at least 70% of the time and that is probably high enough

It hasn't been mentioned on this BB but pleased if that's what the stated at the AGM ie that it is expected to pass tests and be certified in H1 24.

It has been discussed, more than once.
It is expected to pass tests and be certified for sales in H1 24.

Nobody has mentioned the non invasive monitor. For me that's by far and away the most important development and is crucial to a step change in sales.

So a well attended meeting and certainly the most positive meeting for a while. A few key points. Clearly they are confident of being cash flow positive in the second half although the new monitor launch will come too late for the first half numbers. The Latin American tender could be big but they don’t know yet how big. They are the only heamodynamic monitoring system on the tender as the two companies on there previously have been dropped for various reasons. So there is governmental money available in the next few months to purchase monitors and probes and as I understand it this will be the old monitors. The distributor company in that country is quite large and so the expansion in headcount to service the rollout is not a problem to them and they have already allocated 3 extra people to the account.

The UK and EU market which will be immediately available for the new monitor launch is around two thirds of their total market so big potential for an increase in turnover. Other countries should follow fairly soon with the US coming on stream in the first half of next year.

So overall I think there is no doubt prospects for the company are looking the best for many years and IMHO the current market cap looks cheap as the turnover should go up sharply in the coming months!

On my way to the AGM so I will meet any fellow participants there!

WRT a sales increase, clearly the release of the new monitor will cause an uplift and the potential of the national tender in the Latin America country (presumably Peru) sounds promising in that regard too. The latter was always the Holy Grail for driving sales

I was disappointed that the non invasive version doesn't even start trials until later in year. Then assuming successful, how long after that before sales come through. Only when they have non invasive tech will we see sales pick up in my view.

Nothing new about the AGM statement but good to hear more about Latin America as was worried when they went quiet for five months that this was another one fading away. First mention that could be 2025 before new monitor sold in USA.Still, have got my posh duds on and heading for the train after breakfast. Save me a seat at the back, lads!MrC

Work commitments mean I can not make the AGM next week. Would appreciate it if those who do could feedback on here on a few key matters:

- will new monitor be cleared for sale and sales start in June?
- will that be in all markets and, if not, which ones?
- how many will they have available to sell before half year end?
- how many available to sell by interim statement date
- how many available to sell before year end?
- what applications in what markets are they targeting with the non-invasive suprasternal attachment?
- are they changing the marketing story to create a differentiated space for PPWA, bio-impedance and suprasternal as well as the original oesophageal Doppler?

They are leaving it very late to make a difference to the first half, but still ought to be able to show significant growth if they can ship 50 or, better, 100 in the second half of June. And should definitely be able to double or more annual sales with a six and a half month crack it and a large installed base of a very tired design. If, as claimed, they really didn't need the latest £250,000 loan, it would be good to know that they are using it to build more boxes sooner to achieve a higher sales ramp (and therefore a higher and quicker exit value following path set out by Lidco).

Golden opportunity to have a stream of positive commercial news to take the price to 2p, then 3p and 4p by the full year pre-close to set up chance of a sale at north of 8p.

PS don't see much point in kicking off about governance at this stage, but it would be good to see some fresh blood on the Board. How about someone more current who was instrumental in the Cheetah or Lidco exits in the same haemodynamic space?

That said, if anyone wants to give them a thorough and vicious kicking about the price at which they issued themselves shares, I will be (metaphorically) cheering them on! As pointed out the last time the NEDs did this a couple of years back, a previous CEO took options in lieu of cash owed at a 500% premium and it is hard to see why those still on the Board should not follow his leadership and only take shares in lieu of remuneration at 6p or above. Surely this would be far more in the best interests of the Company than taking them at a dip in an already depressed price? It would also mean less dilution and that everyone else's shares were worth a little bit more.
