Good idea and I am interested, although would struggle to get together any cash before late July and probably nearer £5,000. Lets see if there are other takers and I am pretty sure I have your email

Also wrong footed by yesterday's announcement. Had been expecting the shares to go up on news this week of the new monitor launch, then to go up further over the second half of the year on news of sales of the new monitor: thought that the punt here was about whether they could get an exit away in 2024. Amazed they would announce a cash problem so soon after the audit, so can not believe the short term additional cash requirement is very big at all, certainly not relative to a £8 million market cap and realistic prospects of a sale for over £40 million within a year. That said, you were right to highlight the need for due diligence

So sad to see that RNS yesterday, we were almost there! I don't think there'll be any appetite for asking investors to stump up more cash. I'm hoping a white knight can come in and get the new monitor to market and give the Co. the financial backing they deserve, they obviously have the expertise to invent these life saving devices, just a shame about the out of date board and sales team! We'll find out in the coming days..

Nice offer sidam.

But for me, that would be the triumph of hope over experience.

So, I'll take the lumps and sit it out .. You never know, a white knight might be waiting in the wings.

Pigs might also do the proverbial.

Do you think a few of us could put enough cash together to keep the company alive. I would suggest a very high yield convertible bond where we could take the interest or let the bond accumulate. Plus some long term warrants at say 2 or 3p.

We would have to make sure that the bond was sufficient which would require some due diligence.

Also we would require at least one seat on the board replacing some of the old timers.

I suggest that 20 of us could pitch in £10k each which I am willing to do. I could go to £15k but I do not want to do so.

Any takers. If so post and I will give my telephone number.

Also a clean bill of health re going concern less than 3 months ago. Smelly.Upside (which may be straw clutching) is that suspension is not same as administration. Downside is that any rescue now may well wipe out current holders. Is that the plan?MrC

They have not asked me for more money. What about you? I would be very nervous about putting any more in with current Chairman and Board. It's only 6 weeks since a bullish AGM and not much longer since we were told the company didn't really need the last £250,000 loan. Today's announcement was not merely a shock but smacked heavily of backside covering. Happy Monday. MrC

So, what way forward?

Is there any hope for long suffering punters, or is it down to the lake?

More cash needed it would seem

Will larger holders step up to the plate ?

Non invasive monitors seems the way to go following Covid-19 as that particular disease looks set to continue into the future in many more variant forms

Plus more new coronavirus types to come

However the increasing use of cheap ultrasound hand held monitors together with very cheap Pulse Oximetry (SPO2) monitors that are now selling for peanuts seems to be growing in many cash strapped heath services

It would be a pity if the new product cannot be launched and sales be realised.

Not been in this for some years. Reminds me of Sphere. Similar traction issues, mainly due to inherent conservatism of approach by users and payers. One issue they had was when they updated their monitor, it led to the inevitable sales shortfall as any new orders await the new version. They never made the numbers and ended up gong bust (one of the Woodford stable).

Six more working days to get it launched or announce yet another delay. Not exactly the few weeks promised back on 22 December, is it? And the much needed box was already very late then. And still no Latin America deal, but that seems less vital and is less in DEMG's control.

I just wish they would launch it then we can then get the process moving for us to get bought out. Been a long journey downwards. A good product but it hasn't been publicised properly.

Another day nearer to the launch of the new monitor, I know it's been said it won't have much of an effect on the first half results, however this is such a big milestone for DEMG a long time in the waiting..

We are well into June now so the launch could come any day although I suspect as discussed above towards the end of the month is more likely. Yes it won’t significantly affect the first half numbers but without doubt the launch is the most significant event in the last few years so should positively influence the share price.

Vibe from AGM was that launch would not impact interim sales so suspect you are right.Crying shame that they have let time slippages erode the little bits of progress with the share price We could easily be back around a penny before monitor is finally launched and Latin America deal confirmed.MrC

The mm were too slow to reduce the bid and so accumulated shares and then too slow to reduce the offer to entice buyers. So todays drop is a belated attempt to slow the sellers but i think the offer needs to drop further to entice buying again.
