07/9/2010 13:52 | This still a good short for those who want it. | tweeeek
07/9/2010 13:01 | If they loose security contracts as a result of this lack of control (which surely must imo have had some condence by management (or else managemnt systems were far too fragile) then the share price could continue to go south until the coy becomes a t/o target. This year profit I suggest may be minimal at worst or very significantly reduced given the stated costs and a guess at the other internal dislocation expenses. If managment have to preserve cash the dividend is probably at risk of substantial reduction. Anyone any idea of a fair value ??? (e&oe dyor etc - No investment advise intended - just a request for more clarity) | pugugly
07/9/2010 10:48 | not sure i believe much of that statement... | wcjan26
31/8/2010 12:16 | Looking at the recent notifications; These shares are being slowly dumped onto the market. Why? Have they lost a contract? The signs of selling don't look as if it will go up, more like down further. Or is it the case that all the selling is out of the way and they will go up? IMHO, it doesn't look a sign of confidence. | marquis
31/8/2010 10:00 | I think Delarue is doing good but due to the CEO resignation, it could shake the organisation from its roots. Any thoughts on that !!! | splendour10
23/8/2010 10:36 | Every day I look at this and think - I'm glad it hasn't dropped down to 600p today. | eric gardener

13/8/2010 18:13 | De La Rue: mystery over banknote printing errors as chief James Hussey quits The chief executive of De La Rue, the world's biggest banknote printer, resigned in a last-ditch attempt to save a contract with Reserve Bank of India worth up to 25pc of the company's profits. | marquis

29/7/2010 21:33 | High sell volume today, being over 4 million sold, with 400k bought. Must be a large block of DLAR that has been sold. | marquis

22/7/2010 19:45 | Zak Mir isn't always right.... | marquis
22/7/2010 09:28 | By Zak Mir: De La Rue (DLAR) There are normally at least a couple of stages prior to lasting recovery in a stock or market which has been bombed out, just to make sure there is no easy bottom fishing money to be made. As far as De La Rue is concerned we have the stabilisation seen after the initial falling knife brigade went long yesterday at the lower levels. There would now typically be a dead cat bounce to attract the next wave of victim, then a new low down to say, just below 700p, followed by the lasting recovery - as the bulls finally give up on what appears to be a hopeless case. Aquarius Platinum (AQP) can be checked out now as an example of a possible lasting recovery, BP (BP.) possibly not. | pmgn
21/7/2010 12:39 | a similar drop to mid 02. I've dived in but I doubt there'll be much buying untill a bottom is in and there's a statement from the co and the sellers are flushed out. Nevertheless good div in four months. | eric gardener
21/7/2010 10:23 | This will continue to be weak until the full extent of the problem is known. | davidosh

20/7/2010 19:31 | What a bunch of idiots, trying to diversify my investments I seem to have invested with somebody being asleep on the nightshift. Two profit warnings in one day is too much. And there's more to come here, hence the briefest RNS. | blueliner
20/7/2010 19:27 | what an unbelievable disaster that is. i missed the run up of DLAR from £3-4 some years ago and might get a chance to buy there again! edit: easy short? | wcjan26 |
