You can bet a sweet dollar that all their customers will want to know their notes are satisfactory and wanting checks done. Sounds too early to know the full cost and profit hit. I sold at £8.03

yes - the best is they have no clue as to effect of whatever this is ? Is it just a big recall or has dodgy paper got into circulation and recall of bank notes?

This has gone pretty quiet.

If the Euro blows up there might be a lot of new national currency notes to be printed.

I'm not very happy about tne negative equity though. But the Company seems relaxed about it, and the dividend has increased

Results:-

Pretty decent given the current situation IMHO and solid outlook as well.

PE of 12ish and yield of almost 5% with a confident outlook doesn't sound too shabby, does it?

I think it's the press talking about the Bank of England "Printing more Money" maybe is cooking this up a bit.

As I understand things the Quantative Easing creates only virtual money and no more new notes are printed (other than the regular replacement orders).

I didn't realise there was a trading statement due today.

"Specialist printer De La Rue says that overall it is trading in line with expectations underpinned by banknote volumes"

Chart looks OK for 956-957 target ( the same as the last results).
Results due 24 Nov.

As expected - resistance at the dividend gap.
3 White candles looks positive but I have no idea what the pattern is called.

EDIT - chart updated for the close, which is spot on the longer term trend as per post 144

Possibly time to buy back in here.
Quite a drop after XD down to just below the May low and seems to have broken the short term downtrend. target the dividend gap at 880?

Quiet here again.

AGM Statement and IMS looks OK to me. Started with a big gap up and soon slapped down top the 850 support level.

Div pay 31 July.

Next target 100MA at 946.

Maybe end of month profit taking will knock this back tomorrow.
