OK - I get it but the larger point is that you can't speak - technically - about risk reward unless you know what those numbers are.

Risk and reward are always quantifiable (with a rough probability attached to them mind you)

Since you don't, your assessment is qualitative, not quantitative in nature.

Yes I have my estimates of financial performance
They are clearly massive guesstimates as I do not know the extent of what the company is claiming from the Gov or the extent of their cost cutting..

What I do know is that Summer 20 has been destroyed.
The lates market seeing bookings tail off and winter 20 will produce a loss.
Summer 21 is unknown and whilst the company has scaled back leased aircraft it still has some fixed costs that cannot be cut.
I am not prepared to invest into something with so many red flags.
The government might shut us all down next week or in the winter.
Outside the companies control and lots more costs to cut in my opinion

Errrr here is my caution

Market cap over 1 billion but not making a penny now last winter tbis summer and the coming winter.

Liabities well over a billion.

Cutting back this winter next summer even before Spanish news

Winter lockdown could cone over Europe UK CASES going up also.

No idea when a Vaccine is going to cone or work.

Bookings are at a standstill

Strong buy?

Sure but if I understand you correctly you do not have numerical estimates of risk and reward, right? If so - how do you back your opinion? I mean - analytically?Cheers.

In my opinion there are too many unknowns
There are too many factors outside the control of the business to make this a long term buy

Short term trade by all means but that’s not me

Isaiah said, "God gives strength to the weary; He increases the power of the weak." You may be weary today, but the good news is strength is coming.

Awful news for the staff at Hays, many came from the Thomas Cook shops.

I see hays travel have announced redundancies and have come out as very critical of the government over Spain. They cite the cancellation of hundreds of thousands of holidays as a result, but also mention decent bookings for 2021. Hays and Jet2 are very close, so worth a read.

If the 90 min test is rolled out it will be in very high demand with limited supply. There will be a very long list of people for testing in order of priority with key workers, teachers etc at the top. You can guess where holiday makers will be on the list.

Mate 90 min test where the airports have no capacity to test on this scale

You can get a test result now on 24 hours so makes no odds it's not testing we need that's no cure so what.

we need a Vaccine asap

As l say, l’m content with where Dart is.
If we tread water then others have more to fear.
90 minute test (if successful) may support airbridge stance.
Vaccine and we fly, big time.

We know that the money raised from the placement, the £300m Gov. funding (untouched) and £98m sale is all available and is in the bank. The company have confirmed this. The company have also confirmed that they are in a good place (i.e. prepared) until at least April'21. Reduction in planes and staff is in-hand and the furlough scheme is also still operating.

I would be amazed if the airline industry isn't speaking to the Government regarding compensation/help for refunds, whilst also seeking longer term air-bridges for Portugal and the Spanish Islands, with more time/notice provided for repatriation next time.

What I am saying is take a breath and stop adding to the hysteria. Let the useless media do that!!!!

Guys. We've had everything from 80p to £20 in the last 2 weeks. Honestly, every day there is a massive swing in sentiment on here. No wonder the market is all over the place. Why not resist making predictions on an hourly basis and try 1 per week.
