I don't think it'll close at 50p bid for a couple of days - but I can see it touching 52/53p bid by tomorrow afternoon. If, however, we can get a firm base above 50 then 60p will be on the cards by Friday.

As with the recent $100m Staples deal DNK has been chosen ahead of IKON as the preferred supplier of Canon machines...

A similar sales/valuation as Ikon would put the DNK at circa £1.50-£2.00

Further improvement needed to justify that rating but as the recent contract wins prove they must be doing something right.....

Hey 357aman, you managed to call it right before when you said "a 7p rise is on the cards", so maybe you've got it on this too. It would be very impressive to rise to 45p though - that's a rise of about 25-30% in a day. Mind you, DANKY did just that on the 'daq yesterday, so anything's possible!

Danka Business Systems PLC announced that it has been named the vendor of choice for Kwik Kopy Business Centers, Inc., the newest franchise offered by the International Center for Entrepreneurial Development (ICED). The ICED family of franchises has more than 900 locations and ranks among the largest alliance of printing and copying centers in the world.

Its franchise brands include Kwik Kopy Printing, The Ink Well, Franklin's Printing, American Wholesale Thermographers, and Parcel Plus.

Kwik Kopy Business Centers (KKBC) will provide creative design services, black-and-white and color copying, pack and ship services, and mailbox rentals. The first Kwik Kopy Business Center will open in February in Round Rock, Texas.

The company recommends that its franchise center owners contract with Danka to supply and support Canon imageRUNNER products and Canon's portfolio of color laser copiers.
