Someone was trying to pick up 10ks worth for about $1.66 before the US close yesterday. Possibly some shorter (who came to the party late?) trying to close. Shame that nobody is selling at that level eh!

The jobless figure should liven things up a bit then. Should strengthen the dollar a little imo.

U.S. Stock-Index Futures Advance as Yahoo, Aetna Earnings Beat Forecasts

New York, Oct. 10 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. stocks rose before exchanges opened as companies including Yahoo! Inc. and Aetna Inc. said third-quarter profit beat analysts' estimates.

``We're getting some decent earnings,'' said Phil Orlando, who oversees $5 billion as chief investment officer at Value Line Asset Management. ``The balance of earnings reports are going to be largely positive'' after a several weeks in which a string of companies, such as J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. and McDonald's Corp. said their third-quarter results missed forecasts.

Stocks also got a boost as the government said new claims for unemployment benefits dropped to their lowest level since August.

December futures on the Standard & Poor's 500 Index added 3.50 to 781.30 as of 8:44 a.m. in New York. That suggests the index will rise 0.6 percent when exchanges open at 9:30 a.m. Dow Jones Industrial Average futures gained 30 to 7310, and Nasdaq-100 Index futures rose 5.50 to 815.

Have a look at the 10th, 11th, 12th July. Large drop followed by a slightly larger rise. An 11p gain in 2 days. Could we be repeating this?

Chart looks spookily similar.

must be a broker thing then share price Comdirect show 25k. Also most of the MM's are satisfied with 25k chunks.

However saying all this, looks like the price moved without a purchase anyhow.

Also the states looking good...

Oaks, think you mean 22/10/02.

SP, you managed to get the price up with only 25k, phook and I managed the same feat with only 30k and 21k respectively Tuesday. If it is 6*nms then that would suggest a trade of min 150k. If it is this the case and such a large purchase is shown then watch out for the buys to start coming in from all angles.

I believe though it's a small trade.

We'll soon see.

I would love to see a test up to $2 again prior earning, just want to see how strong the demand, so I can decide how much money eventually I will invest for longer term after reading Q2.

Lex.....I am not qualified to give direct advice......I just mention various support and resistence levels and likely movements based on the chart....its all in the thread somewhere.....

By my calculations the H+S has been completed based on US prices.....there is resistence at 28p and 32p......for some a break of 28p would be a buy signal...for the more cautious 32p.....would be a stronger signal......failure to break these levels....could mean further declines.....the results will dictate...imho

For the non chartists who believe in the funnymentals of the company over the long term ...who sold out before the collapse in the share price.....then I guess as long as they get back in for less than they got out ...then they have gained from the recent decline.......with either extra shares or a holiday for the Mrs...

blockbuy,I'm with you on this one.IF not mistaken mms reading from the same script and singing from the same hym sheet.After falls,technical bounce is due and therefore trend up, no resistance,rising on small volumes to encourage more punters in.Low risk for those who have bought 24p-26p,fortune favours the brave and all that...better when 28p resistance firmly broken & into safer territory.This is a traders share after all.imho.

Crunch time next results when I see a lower share price.Anyone got an approx. date yet?
