04/8/2002 22:34 | Max...looks like it has broken out of a descending triangle with a target price of 17p...which I believe is its 12 month low....double bottom on the cards ?... I will do some digging and post on the PRSC board...but at a quick glance it looks interesting...cheers | ![]() forfaiter

04/8/2002 21:54 | ff, I think you hit a good point there. imo there will be speculation on the build up to the conference call. Is anyone planning to partake. ps, nothing in the business or express today. only got a third of the way through the times before the evening light became too dim. I'll check in the am. Anyone else notice a particular sport related stock that has been mentioned today?????? see ya at the open ya all. Gonna be a good weeks trading imo. | ![]() blockbuy
04/8/2002 20:17 | Oakyhead...I have no interest as being regarded as some trading guru.....I leave that to you......I appreciate you need to keep your reputation intact as you rely on it to push the stocks you have an interest in.....I call it ramping .....you call it helping your fellow man......each to their own....I guess.... So I have no reason to lie ...and I made no secret of the fact that I would be a buyer of the stock if it broke back over its 200d ma....which it did and I bought.......I also trade other stocks but do not feel the need to advertise this fact.....but then again I have nothing to prove.... If it breaks back above 52/53 I will consider buying again...only a fool would short before the CC and the rumour of a new finance package..... Lets wait and see what monday brings..... | ![]() forfaiter

04/8/2002 18:00 | This could turn into a further week of fun.Posted on pbb: Q1 results came out on friday, with strong upbeat trading statement, followed by an analyst "Strong buy" recommendation.Volat | ![]() lex1000
04/8/2002 17:36 | Long term no doubts about it,plenty to look forward to.Monday and the next two weeks will be very interesting.Strong buy recommendation may draw in day and short term traders as well as fresh money from investors.Just what the doctor ordered. If share does happen to hit over 60p as expected, might be tempted to take some profits and hope to buy back cheaper at a later date.Don't think somehow that we'll get back into the 80's,however, you never know in these markets.Hope to see lower opening price, the trouble is some investors can get in and buy pre open.Won't put the cart before the horse,so let's see what happens tomorrow, another day another dollar.imho,dyor. | superpete
04/8/2002 17:05 | Your trading tactic is predictable now funny fans. I trade more often than you especially in US, I do IKN as well. We all want everyone to make money but no need to become ugly basher. All investment transactions are made up of a purchase and a sale. We thank (not that hate) shorters especially when they are covering. The power of short-covering has helped rallies and it is an important part of the market's adjustment mechanism. Your buying back at 43p (if this is not an empty story) has helped my friend who bought at 32p-ish and 35p. Now we should see the new bottom-price but may be a bit of dreaming to expect buying back at sub $2 again after seeing such a good results. Traders may concern with the overall market but long term is brighter for Danka after Q1 was released. IMO, DYOR, etc. Buying cheaper on Monday is common story but seeing fresh money into DNK next week will be fantastic (such as more protected buy). We never know until we see the trading tomorrow. If we have to face a strong pressure of selling in US then I will anticipate to buy at low again because the following week could be better to sell. Everything can happen. | oaklandsway
04/8/2002 16:58 | A double whammy and great news for investors.Early issue of Q1 results, reporting profits followed by an Analyst STRONG BUY recommendation!.Some I feel happy! | ![]() lex1000
04/8/2002 16:42 | Glad to see that ff is at least considering buying back in on Monday. Can't knock buying back in cheaper on weakness / less than sold. Also if it is lower than paid in protected "T",250K shares at 53.5p reported late friday.I'm presuming for the moment an institutional buyer? In view of anaylst "Strong Buy" recommendation following fridays excellent results would not take too much buying for share price to bounce back nicely up above 50p/$3 IF marked down at open. wonder how UK mms will play this now. Might mark down to reflect close in US to try and shake out weak sellers or possibly will take the lead and quickly mark up to reflect "Strong Buy" recommendation.imho. | ![]() matt1231

04/8/2002 16:23 | Yeah Matt, I would say that funny fans is losing his head. Danky can reverse to uptrend like what you said that it could make a trap for shorter firstly for a while. Funny fans had got trapped last week after selling at 35.5p and might have spent to top up LGD LOL. Below are comments on Yahoo. boyd said pgevans as an incurable insomniac: Rumor over here was that you are an incurable insomniac so I thought I'd do the good samaritan thing and try and hel relieve your otherwise heavy conscious. Very good of me, old chap, don't you think? from bobo: pgevans must be a manic depressive. never seen a guy go from one extreme to the other and then go on and on about nuttin. if yer out of the stock, why even worry about it anymore? from gs20ads for pgevans: Are you married to or dating a Eurotrash girl? Funny fans, you better pray now for your LGD. Who wants to sell DNK at 32p for you if we can get around 50p. | oaklandsway
04/8/2002 16:15 | oakslandsway, taken from yahoo about "our friend" forfaiter (ff)/pgevans34.As posted, individual investors should be left to make up their own minds about shares and not be panicked into selling without dd/dyor.For instance I feel sorry for those that may have been influenced to panic sell in low 30's and missed out on a potential 60% rise. None of us is perfect and he has been shown to get it wrong. I'm off to take a break.Best Regards for now. Then, when the stock hits their price, the tone will change and they will start asking longs to check into this and check into that. The seeds of doubt are being planted. This basher will then start using various tactics to create seeds of doubt. ALWAYS LOOK AT THE PROFILE OF A PERSON YOU SUSPECT. ASK WHAT STOCKS THEY'VE "SUPPORTED" IN THE PAST AND CHECK OUT THOSE MESSAGE BOARDS. An honest person will have a positive track record that can be followed. I strongly believe that a contrary view is needed but this person is out to steal your money and does it by deception and creates fear after gaining confidence! EDIT:ALSO TAKEN FROM YAHOO! 04/8/2002 15:37 | Fridays results were positive and confident to hold shares for long term gains. The next few weeks will determine share price over the short term. Not long to wait for Conference call Tuesday week to build on & continue Fridays good newsflow.Agree,if refinancing is announced should have share trading 60p plus.imho.dyor. | superpete
04/8/2002 15:35 | Matt, you did very good posts today. Talking about trends, I think DANKY is going sideways but possible reversal to uptrend. Lets hope bigger volume next week and get through $3.07 before CC. I am looking forward to listen the CC on Tuesday the 13. | oaklandsway
04/8/2002 15:19 | Must be very painful if you sold at 35.5p but worth 53p a week later. £3500 difference for 20K shares can be used to repair or px your lada, LOL. Your call to sell on 26 July was bad one, I rang a friend to buy at 32p-ish on 24 July but he did not buy. He told his friend an hour after my telephone conversation & his friend bought 10K. His friend was very happy yesterday & asked for further direction. Another friend bought at 35p on 23 July but felt too early. He is also happy with profit now although did not pay the very bottom one. By the way, too much fear worth LOL especially if can't anticipate good news that will finally come from a company doing well-managed restructuring & refinancing. We all know that any rally can sustain if there is positive news flow - especially better news on operating profit, net income from operation & stronger fundamentals - and if the market is in normal condition. We can understand if people concern about the increase in equity mutual funds pulled by investors in US, which increase significantly every month. $5bn in May, $18 bn in June & estimated $47bn in July. However, the significant outflows in July could suggest that the market may be near its bottom. Some fund managers also suggest that the outflows were small in a $4 trillion equity mutual fund industry and historically (in the past 30 years) had been limited, short-lived and non-recurring. So, let see how much mutual fund will be withdrawn in August & when the positive inflow will start. The best tactic is to withdraw before institutions did and to get back in before the institutions get in. Another data shows that in June portfolio managers in equity funds purchased about $9bn. I can see tiny part of them went into Danka, institutions are topping up every month so please don't leave out too long. We have seen that leaving out a week can cost 50% gain or £3500 for 20K shares, LOL. Well, happy trading & investing. Too much fear is not good. Just relax & be smarter. | oaklandsway
04/8/2002 15:16 | americanbulls.com has danky as a "HOLD"-selling pressure on friday was not very strong.Up by +6.57%.Good Q1 results I thought. Results issued much earlier than expected. Most of us thought next week. Will have to wait for US to open to see whether investors continue buying post results. | ![]() lex1000 |
