17/5/2002 08:31 | I agree with your sentiments guys (especially Oak and Lex) and am holding my stock for the bounce, which is sure to come sooner or (not so) later. Not buying more until I see how far this dip (however caused) goes, but buying at a pre-turnup price is my preferred next move. Jayno | jayno
17/5/2002 08:20 | From reports in the US,Institutional buyers bought in last two hours,so they've done well out of short selling, getting in and making most of these bargain prices. Can't last for long imho. | ![]() lex1000

17/5/2002 08:09 | if it was not the writeoffs due to the oracle software and executive resructuring which is clearly non recurring then we should have seen a 10C eps for this quarter so yes we have a lot to look forward to, markets will soon see that and price will go up, wait and see, it is a question of time, i wish i had cash to top up | ![]() psychicdoc
17/5/2002 08:05 | Taken from yahoo.com which highlights some of the positives. Debt Reduced 57.7% in One Year by: bullrallystocks (42/M/ ®) Long-Term Sentiment: Strong Buy 05/16/02 11:33 pm Msg: 26391 of 26401 Gulp......Less than Half the Debt of this time Last Year. Can't wait to compare That to DANKA's Peers. Also Total Debt is Less that One Quarter Revenue. Major Significant Improvement. People Come to your Senses. This has Turned Around in a BIG Way. No More On Going Concern Statement!!!Remember how this stock got so Discounted next to its Peers. It was Market Concern about Company Survival. Now DANKA is in FAR Better Finantial shape than its Peers. Ikon is trading with a P/E 32.20 Danka substantially reduced its debt in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2002 by $37.7 million or 11.0% to $304.5 million. For the full year, the company eliminated $414.7 million or 57.7% of its debt. Reasons for the full-year decrease include the June 2001 financial restructuring, the use of proceeds from the sale of DSI, and the continued generation of free cash flow | ![]() lex1000

17/5/2002 07:28 | oaklandsway, thank you for giving your overview.Your post 3084 is both honest and fair. With restructuring, clean accounts etc Danka does sell at a discount to its peers and is therefore due a re-rating.This continues to be an excellent recovery play and if as expected share price opens down provides an excellent buying opportunity courtesy of dirty tricksters/shorters in the US.No cause or reason for any panic just a short term opportunist shorting blip. For me a long term investment to reap the full rewards with target price of 150p. Holding with confidence and will ride out any short term volatility as long term price is going up.Only a matter of time before share price bounces back. I see Danka as an excellent buy at 75p or less imho. | ![]() lex1000
17/5/2002 07:25 | The US price yesterday was clearly manipulated by shorters yesterday. Hardly any large trades in the UK. If the price in the UK is marked down we could see an excellent arbritrage value to buy the shared before the US share price opens up in the afternoon. Long term this price is going UP and it will be interesting in the next week as those that bought in the last few months decide whether to get out or stay in and watch the share price rise. AS this latest news comes out over the next few weeks in the press we should see some positive press. Last time when results came out we saw a similar pattern. It takes a day to digest the news and institutions are not going to pile in on the day of the results. AWtch the price over the next month at least before you decide to sell. | kp1
17/5/2002 07:14 | sp top up if you can because this is going up in the long term for sure, fundamentals are in place honestly if the american economy recovers can u imagine the upside, really cant see much downside from here | ![]() psychicdoc
