The company stated earnings of 1.1p a share for Q4...

if you take out the on off exceptionals for Q4 the EPS stands at 1.9p.

is that right ?

The Group reported an operating loss from continuing operations of £1.9 million
for the fourth quarter of the year ended 31st March, 2002 (which included a £5.3
million write-off of software related to the Group's exit of its legacy business
systems and the implementation of its new Vision 21 business systems and £1.3
million of executive contract termination charges)

Don't get me wrong I have been in this stock since sub 10p but todays results were disappointing from the point of view that the revenue increase attained in Q3 has been wiped out....

The management have done a great job of increasing margins and cutting costs but they have to at least stabilise the revenue base to restore confidence..

The industry is very seasonal with the weakest quarters on the horizon.....Q4 is one of the strongest.....so just over 1p of eps is not much of a cushion....

The US share price got mugged by shorters pureand simple.DNK has made tremendous gains with some investors easy prey to flush out.First time I've followed yahoo and seen shorters at work scare/panic tactics US style and all. However,ludmilla89147 posts on yahoo that over 800,000 shares were bought up in the last few hours.

My shares are for me a firm hold and will consider taking full advantage of buying opportunities.

there should be legislation brought in against shorting people put thier hard earned money into a stock which is fundamentally sound who go on to post a very respectable set of results and these professional hatchet men come and take away thier hard earned cash.

will be interesting to see what the press write about Danka. Cant see anything negative being stated. Hopefully will positive influence on the stock.

Typical US investors. Pour cold water on our effort.

A bit like what they did to our soldiers in Afghanistan. They effing moved out and literally ordered our boys to go in hunt down the enemy, which effectively turned out to be wild goose chase. I can now understand why Blair is labelled as Bush's poodle.

The report Is Great.

It Proves 4 Quarters in a row Improvements. Now showing $0.17 per share Net Earnings

This does NOT Include the DSI sale.

Earnings for Fiscal Year were $1.95 per share.

It will sink in, in a few days. I can't wait to see the sites Update to show P/E 2 over at Money Central.

i firmly believe this is the shorters last stand, once the analysts have crunched the numbers and the instutions gets thier sights set this stock will rise, remember these short positions are long standing IMHO we should recover most or all of our losses in the next few days.

would like to know where you get that sector average from ? are you talking about current pe or forward pe ?

The sector has an average PE ratio of 12 which gives a share price of 60p....

The company needs to show signs of growth before commanding a higher PE ratio imho.....
