17/5/2002 17:18 | Nice double top at 83/85 which signifies a trend reversal...needs to hold the 50d ma at $3.95 to prevent further downward pressure.... | ![]() forfaiter
17/5/2002 17:12 | I also think it is dangerous to expect this share to follow any form of TA too closely. It's too succeptable to manipulation. For that reason I do not employ a stop loss - take your eyes off the screen and you can be wiped out. | webley
17/5/2002 17:09 | The problem is it's easy to throw out the technical traders and people with stop-losses which means the share takes a dive. Were the results really that bad? I don't know much about fundamentals but surely it will have to bounce back from here? | smoketrader
17/5/2002 17:06 | Last time it was at a 52 week high, but as we know this time it had already come off its high by some 7p or so. I personally think it may test the low 60,s before we see a climb. | ![]() pistonbroke1
17/5/2002 17:02 | pistonbroke1, would therefore take us back into 50p to 60p territory if it followed suit.A bit scary for holders with shares in 70's and 80's with trailing stop losses should share price continue to fall by another few pennies. | ![]() lex1000
17/5/2002 16:56 | Fell out of its trend channel yesterday unfortunately. 65p or nearby 50dma looks to be support level to me? Could this be manipulation in the States because of the large short interest? Are they just trying to pull it back so they can close as low as possible? They'll still have to close at some point and so will the people who have shorted recently. | smoketrader
17/5/2002 16:52 | If i'm reading it right Institutional holdings now reduced from 6% to 4.6%.The US bulls and bears, or more accurately the longs and shorts, still fighting it out with war of words. The bulls with facts , the shorters with emotional and sometimes foul mouthed language, playing on the fact that share price did not go up post results..Shares in downtrend-$3.86-$3.9 | ![]() lex1000
17/5/2002 16:39 | Free Fall!!But hold on to your shares. You will see why. The result was good. Amature traders getting out or shorters with their grandmas money. Reall investors by now have analysed the future of Danky. The future is bright. Hold on to it. | ![]() 357aman
17/5/2002 16:34 | CAN NOT ACCESS.... | going for broke

17/5/2002 16:32 | Que bargin hunters at the beginin of the week. this the orderbook. real time i think. offer did dip below $4 about 10 mins ago, but now the buyers are back in. typical as the UK closes. | ![]() blockbuy
17/5/2002 16:27 | Why the big fall today...it was doing so well too... | going for broke
17/5/2002 16:26 | mms happy to mark down share price on selling here in the UK as noone knows how it will close in the US. | ![]() lex1000
17/5/2002 16:26 | Lex, That doesn't sound good - hope that's worse case scenario only down 3 c US | ![]() ambabe
17/5/2002 16:23 | Just re-logged on to advfn following power failure. Can't believe that shorters look to have gained the upper hand again.Chartwise looking tricky.Lost 70p support and don't know where we go from here. With panic selling, can only hope that holds at 60p if it goes that low and doesn't result in domino effect. I can see a real danger of stop losses kicking in,nerves breaking with a number of investors grabbing profits.Hope that i'm wrong but look to have a few more days like this.imho,dyor. | ![]() lex1000
17/5/2002 16:23 | I can't really see why it's dropped so badly. Doesn't look so bad in the US... Donkey has done this sort of thing before. You've just got to grit your teeth and hope a trailing stop loss doesn't kick in. | ![]() mooch
17/5/2002 16:21 | Wheres' everyone gone or are you all just stunned into silence! Down 12.1% whatever happened to £1. by end of week >:( | ![]() ambabe
17/5/2002 16:20 | the yahoo danky board is wierd. people on their are truly mental. its like a war zone on there. | easykill
17/5/2002 16:09 | Forfaiter, Not really a fun afternoon!!! | ![]() ambabe
17/5/2002 13:03 | The shorters are trying to break down the chart in the US which would cause more selling as investors lock in profits.....they pushed the price through the 50d ma yesterday where the share found strong support...... There is still a large short position in this stock and they are trying to reverse the trend...... The stock has a small float in the US which makes it vunerable to manipulation.... The accumulation/distrib Should be a fun afternoon... | ![]() forfaiter |
