Isn't the clock ticking for these to find a new NOMAD?

Too pricey for me, be OK when they increase my OAP by 25% or so.

Isn’t the point of a going into a small butchers that you get that personal touch which is completely lost online! I believe this is the same beef that is also going into Morrison’s.

Spar are really getting behind this partnership...

Our exciting new Crawshaws meat range launched in our @SPARCrosspool and SPAR Intake stores today. We think it looks fantastic and offers great value to our customers!

No idea why Peel walked away but I found them very supportive of the company previously so today's announcement came as a surprise. Personally I would like to see Stockdale appointed instead of WH Ireland.

It is Peel Hunt that has served notice on Crawshaw. You may have thought that if there had not been a falling out over something they would have discussed their resignation with Crawshaw and given them time to appoint a new nomad so that it could all be announced at the same time.

Peelhunt would be too expensive for them, they will simply be appointing a nomad more appropriate to a business of their size and with fees more competitive. Dont forget last ceo was used a working for Lidl he seemed not to consider cost. So this is another good move by the new CEO and new FD. They are cost conscious.

Don't think so as WHI would not have signed up as broker.

I see their Nomad has resigned. Could be concerns over their going concern status. If they don't get a new one in 30 days they're going to be suspended. I can't see them ever coming back either.

Wonder how truthful Crawshaws staff are about the origins of their meat.

I have bought a few more today as this deal could and should help them back on their feet.

Still lots of work ahead but they are up from the canvas and still in with a fighting chance.

Will make a great pre-pack soon. Someone will wait for the cash to run out then take the factory shops and see if they can make them work as a standalone.

The financial position is not great here. Net current assets are only just over 900k and that will have disappeared by the end of the FY.

Presumably if they're going to close a load of high street stores there will be big write downs of fixtures and fittings further hurting the balance sheet.

It looks touch and go to me whether these survive or not.

I seem to remember that the push to online destroyed Stanley Gibbons. Would not be surprised if history repeated itself here

This company burned through £1.4M in cash in just 6 months and is now at net cash of just £3.3M. Online systems do not come cheap and with such a rate of cash burn and a questionable business model, I think this will only speed up the collapse here.
