Tesco found issues at second 2 Sisters plant as scandal-hit site was closed

Inspectors gave ‘red’ warning rating to processes at chicken plant in Scotland, which supplies Asda, Sainsbury’s, M&S, Lidl, Aldi, Co-op and Iceland.

The Guardian understands that further, unidentified, 2 Sisters factories were also marked as “red” during the same series of emergency inspections.

I think they roll them in breadcrumbs and oil, and the workforce are turning out a pretty good football team. Unfortunate the shape of the 'ball' not amenable for keeps uppy.

You'll be able to tell if the chicken's from 2S, it'll have sawdust on it from being dropped on the floor. I think that's then repacked and branded as chicken with a wood crumb coating, lol

probably because of the admin of having to reconcile the sales back to individual stores, imo - but i agree its really stupid, this company is really doing, so so badly.

I sent off an email to the head office earlier this week, they've not even acknowledged it, let alone responded!

Let’s not argue its nearly Christmas and not long until Noel comes down the chimney with our Christmas trading update.

I have been looking on our FB page to see how the hampers are going and was surprised to see that people can’t simply phone in and order their hampers?

Hi Claire, unfortunately we can't take telephone orders as there needs to be £10 deposit paid.... orders need to be in by 17th December

Why can’t they pay the £10 deposit on a debit card whilst on the phone?

I really do feel that using this board solely to slag off Noel is serving little purpose for genuine shareholders or potential investors.

Can we stick to solid facts about Crawshaws, local news from stores or press coverage. or even just simple related info about the retail or meat industry.

In other words...'play the ball not the man' I think most genuine investors will move away from here otherwise and you will be left talking or moaning to yourselves. If you see something official or directly related to Crawshaws that mentions NC then that is fine but I do feel you have all made your point by now.

On paper I am the one who has lost the most as an individual investor so I will question anything sent to me privately if you feel something needs investigating but public slagging is not beneficial IMO.

I hope noel picks his 4.5 days wisely over the Xmas period . Would be very disappointing if he wasn't working with the staff up to Xmas eve . A butchers busiest time of the year .

Avengerre due to the time of your first post I believe you are Mr Collett himself this is due to the fact that you work 4 1/2 days and are probably messaging from the comfort of your home. In the retail rat race high street stores take 70% of sales Fri Sat Sun are being the right man for the job and all that you miss the whole Damm thing
