There is absolutely no doubt in my mind Noel Collett is the right person to continue leading the company. He has undoubtedly endured some turbulent times as has seemingly the sector but I have great confidence he will succeed. I think changing the top layer of the business at this stage would prove disastrous.

An area manager would know who is worth employing .would have the pick of the bunch join him and no doubt offer an increased hourly rate to entice them. If one opens in the same area one could attract the customers from the shops to their previously friendly staff.I
One cannot beat a small concern that looks after staff and customers.

It would seem all the experienced staff that helped build crawshaws to its dizzy hights have gone. It's reputation for being "A good family orientated comany" have gone. Treat them mean and keep them keen does not seem to be the push forward for keeping staff.

You've also got a certain Martin Wilson (ex crawshaws area manager with over 25 years experience) who has opened up in Doncaster Market & the Colonades trading as Meatmaster with all ex crawshaw staff. It'll be very interesting to see Meatmasters & Mckenzies next moves. Good luck guys, here's hoping you all have a very prosperous Christmas & 2018 & that includes Craw. Very interesting times ahead
