02/2/2022 21:47 | Agreed. Ole Joe has hinted that there's a better use of the cash but we need some action | hatfullofsky
02/2/2022 19:33 | I dont see this moving until a major acquisition is announced. Not sure what the exact cash balance is but if they can buy a decent company at 5-6x making £1m EBITDA then that takes EBITDA to low £2m. Value that at 7x and hey presto you have a share price of c.20p. Then over time make smaller debt funded acquisitions with a view to increasing EBITDA by 25% a year and the share price should increase further over time. Simples. All they need to do is find the right company to buy. | valuschmalu
02/2/2022 14:35 | Hatfull - True | temelco
02/2/2022 14:13 | CRU is incredible value. I'll keep adding on dips. EV is crazy for the business performance | hatfullofsky
31/1/2022 08:18 | We all know this is a cash machine, and what surprises me is the number of sellers under 14.50p. No matter what reservations I may have expressed, those that have cash sitting in a bank that are averse to risk but would like a high return must be plonkers not taking a good look at what this offers imo. However DYOR | clocktower
28/1/2022 22:10 | Tatra factory near Halifax was owned by a Coral director, that has since gone and Tatra has moved to site of Rotalac in Wythenshawe South Manchester to form TatraRotalac. | ace of base1
28/1/2022 19:29 | If they don't own it, they should buy it to save on rent. Interesting that they haven't | valuschmalu
28/1/2022 16:01 | I guess that 100k @14.9p maybe JG again - will we soon see another RNS. Any chance of a link to the Property Agents Sale page? I thought so too valuschmalu. | clocktower
27/1/2022 20:49 | I thought Coral didn't own the tatra building? Thought it was leased from a director who owned it | valuschmalu
27/1/2022 18:55 | Ah, thanks. | effortless cool
27/1/2022 07:43 | Hi base7, Can you correct the domain name of the site you mention? The 'lose.co.uk' one just takes me to a domain name for sale page. | effortless cool
26/1/2022 23:22 | So,a poster on lose.co.uk did his homework & noticed that BDO,our esteemed Auditors have resigned & we will not doubt soon hear who the new one will be.The same investigative poster has also unearthed the fact that Rotala are trying to sell their long leasehold property for £1mill (down from £1.75 mill 3/4 years ago )& from the accounts it would appear that this would generate a substantial profit (around £850k).Presumably we will lease back the property but another example of JG cashing in unwanted chips to increase our cash pile .3/4 years ago we may have needed the money but I would have thought not, currently . I still feel JG has an exit plan, which will become apparent in the fullness of time | base7
26/1/2022 09:06 | As you say Charo no RNS - someone else bought.... | temelco
25/1/2022 16:46 | Don't think co buying as no rns. | charo
25/1/2022 15:39 | Good point Charo - looks like yet another chunk tucked away | temelco
24/1/2022 16:20 | Save the dividend yielding 7%,against 0.75% in bank. Do the math. | charo
24/1/2022 15:34 | No need to take a risk - JG will swallow them up on behalf of all share holders I guess, as they are - what did he say? :-) However, what will they do with them? | clocktower
24/1/2022 11:32 | Jam tomorrow stocks taking a pounding.Coral meanwhile has consistently paid dividends ,strong cash flow ,even in difficult times. Now cash rich balance sheet with a profitable core so dividend should be secure even allowing for some turbulence in general economy. | charo
21/1/2022 16:19 | Looks like another tuck away | temelco
18/1/2022 13:16 | Share options are only a small % of the 7.3mill Treasury shares & should they be reissued as part of an acquisition the assumption is that JG considers their value to be more than 15p | base7
17/1/2022 20:53 | Do people here not read the RNSs? The Board believes buying back shares at the current price represents an outstanding opportunity to buy back into treasury shares which can then be issued to fulfil the anticipated exercise of existing share options or in part payment for any future acquisition. | ifaze
14/1/2022 14:28 | My bet would be the treasury shares are going to be used for an acquisition or two | temelco |
