newprom always has a positive slant ... even with zero progress and a share price now 60% below the last placing price. The least the Prof could do is suspend all fees and salaries for Directors until such time as the company is on a sounder financial footing. If this thing ends up in administration, I wonder who will be knocking the bean counters door?

the most ridiculous statements are those that simply disregard the facts such as the utter devastation of the share price, the lack of permits & planning permission and, as for producing revenue or, even, profits.....well that really is so many years away it is laughable.

If it ever happens.

looks like its all over bar the shouting I think this years AGM is going to be difficult for the Prof as the reality that investors have lost their money sinks in .

no, if they cannot get money from you, you are low priority.
I know that from personal and repeated experience.

For me it has always hinged on finance/funding/jv. I wouldn't be here if I didn't believe they will achieve this. What form this will take will be interesting. I wouldn't be surprised if these things fall into place just in time for the AGM. Possibly 2 big announcements prior to the AGM including KDR. Crunch time for me and many others I suspect.

Correct Goldeneye5....and it has been hinging on that exact point now for a couple of years. JV/mega finance or bust.

Has anyone been able to contact or get a response from the company in the last 6 months?I suspect they have been organizing the finance for the past few months. If finance gets sorted, this will be transformational for CGNR. Success here all comes down to this

Craffert.I do tend to take everything you say with a pinch of salt.I would not trust you because of the way you twist things.I know from past experience that mineng speaks from the heart and is totally credible.

Newprom - what Mineng is telling you is that your latest transformational news has absolutely no relevance to CGNR ore type and grades. If you respected his views and listened to him you would have read the last sentence. But you tend to avoid honest factual negative news irrespective of who shoves it up here.

newprom - your faith in these guys is seriously impressive ( others may choose to use a different term ) but I don't share your enthusiasm. If they start pfaffing around with a new technology, it'll just give them an excuse for nothing happening for another X years......jmo.

I have to say that you must be the most negative person I have ever met.I am not just saying that I really mean it.You have to look at the many positive things and evaluate risk and compare to the huge upside.

I see.......and where is that exactly? Given the present share price, the staggeringly generous financial arrangements with the board, their presumable need for funding and regulations ( with reference to the nominal share price ) concerning the price at which they can raise money, I think I can see where this is going...........but hey......I haven't got a pair of rose-tinted glasses......

Fracking was transformational for the oil industry and had a major impact and this could be the same.If it is, this could be HUGE for cgnr!

Things are starting to look very interesting for this company.major economies are deep in debt with no signs they can reverse this, and with the situation getting worse by the day. There has to be a limit and a reckoning day. This augers well for the gold price. We have potentially many millions of ounces of gold and a market cap of just over 2 million pounds. We now have the possibility of new technology which could save 50% of production costs and make development a no brainer.

Newprom - clutching at straws there..... : ) Remind me again how long it took them to get the pilot plant tests done with the technology they had chosen? If they start playing with new technology...........I guess it could be another 10 years before they start producing......oh silly me, it could be ten years anyway...... : )
