10/6/2015 09:14 | For sure newprom, I certainly wouldn't rule that out. The prof will have a plan, they have had long enough to put it together. After such a long time, all could happen very quickly for both companies. I wouldn't rule out the 2 companies becoming 1 again either. Who knows how it will play out, but it will be interesting and to shareholders benifit. | goldeneye5
10/6/2015 08:44 | Looking good.Could the prof sell or do a deal with Karelian to finance cgnr? I am sure he would love to do that. But then again he already has a very good deal in place in the event of finding a deposit. This could certainly put a few balls in the air for him to conjure with. | newprom
10/6/2015 08:11 | Conroy supporters very happy at Karelian this morning.Very exciting news. The prof certainly has a magic touch for finding resources where others have failed.Keep the faith! | newprom
09/6/2015 15:21 | I guess you have to believe in something to be able to transfer such unsound logic to backing someone who is a serial underperformer but who holds out the hope that one day it will all be OK and you will find yourself in the promised land. Amen. | craffert
09/6/2015 14:34 | He has tested peoples faith.Just as in religion you need faith, with this share you need to keep faith. Those that fall by the wayside, could well regret it. | newprom
09/6/2015 13:56 | Prof should have started a new religion. Loyal people promised - Haven - but not on earth in this life. | odvod
09/6/2015 13:53 | I am not absolving the prof of all blame for not meeting targets. But if you or I were in his shoes then we would paint that"rosy" picture out of necessity,as he has had to do.That is what companies such as cgnr ,who rely on funding have to do.The alternative is to shut up shop.It is up to investors of the share to determine when is the best time to invest.Clearly the past was not a good time. But we have made progress and now could be the right time. The bulls look at the market cap and realise risk to reward, this looks like a great time to invest.Other people have invested at much higher prices.Investment that has helped the company into a much better position.Certainly the reward could be huge. | newprom
09/6/2015 12:19 | you are, I am sure, not referring to any parties related to this venture, are you? : ) | thecynical1
09/6/2015 12:19 | craffert.....LOL! Who has a healthy paycheck every month regardless of progress????? | thecynical1
09/6/2015 11:50 | so what was the score in 2003/4 when he was also saying that a gold mine would be up and running within 3 years? Do you want every newbie here to believe that it was a one off miscalculation just a few years ago, rather than a continuous pattern of misleading investors on being accountable for milestones. Was that continual pattern of misleading now just consigned to the benign world of simply painting a rosy picture? And this during a time when the gold price went from $800 to $1,800 an oz before dropping back to $1,180. You can't use the gold price as a constant excuse. Roll forward a decade. And what has happened? There has been lots of probing the ground, lots of paper conceptual studies, lots of fall outs with investors, and lots of juicy salaries and fees. And zilch in the way of equity value creation. As you would say newprom, negative share price performance is rarely a positive thing. Unless of course you have a useful buffer in the form of a fat paycheck each month, irrespective of performance. | craffert
09/6/2015 10:23 | Of course in the past it has always been to the advantage of the prof to paint a "rosy" picture, and that is still the case but since those times when too "rosy" a picture was painted we have had a lot of progress and I believe we are now in a much better position.A position where forecasts can be met. | newprom
09/6/2015 10:12 | 4marlin.The prof would have thought 3 years ago that the gold price would have stayed at those heights or even gone higher.Instead we got a lowering gold price and a very unfavourable environment for progressing to production. This is something that was market wide and not isolated to cgnr. The bulls are not fazed because they can see the risk to reward that is possible. If things go right we are talking huge returns.Everything has its value and the bulls invest because we believe that progress is around the corner and the 3 million pounds valuation for this company is completely absurd.Of course some people may be upset about the past but we believe the prof has the best of intentions and it is the future that we need to think about.Negativity rarely is positive, most good in the world has come from positivity. | newprom
09/6/2015 09:37 | ref 6514.......the science experiment continues........... | thecynical1
08/6/2015 12:19 | well, for me, unfortunately it brings into sharp focus what balls the prof says: about 3 and a half yrs ago he told me "production in 3 yrs".....a story that, at the time, I was not aware had started c. 15 yrs ago. I am unable to interpret it positively as it goes to the heart of management credibility. It appears the bulls are not fazed by this...which I cannot understand. | 4marlin
07/6/2015 19:00 | Nothing we didn't know already of course. | goldeneye5
07/6/2015 10:37 | and they say: However there remains a number of major steps to complete such as further metallurgy, environmental studies, and completion of the feasibility document before permitting and preparations for construction can begin. | 4marlin

06/6/2015 10:56 | Goldeneye.I wont be going anywhere, will be staying for the reward.I think we need to keep posting to put reason into this board. The negative gang are easy to see through.I am willing to listen to anybodies point of view, thats how you balance your own point of view, but the negativity they portray has an ulterior motive, for sure. | newprom
06/6/2015 09:17 | As you say newprom, it's a great time to be adding here. It's a patience game and many just don't have the patience. The company has been building towards a point when a deal will be done. It's a slow process, however the passing of time means that every RNS now sees CGNR in a stronger position. When funding/jv comes this will be a completely different beast! What annoys many is that the prof does things the way he wants to and at his own pace. He never looses site of what this is about. That clearly bugs some of the negative posters. Bugs me too, but it will be worth it. There are some who are peeved because they found out the hard way that investing large amounts of money here does not give them a direct line or any extra knowledge or influence. They should Suck it up and move on! There are a group of posters here who are clearly trying to bash the company/prof at any opportunity. This can be seen after every positive RNS, where they emerge with nasty comments. It's very obvious. Newprom, you would be amazed the lengths some of them have gone to here to try and damage cgnr's reputation. Good to still have you here newprom. | goldeneye5
