03/11/2016 06:07 | this can only go upwards , from DB's tone and sudden sense of urgency , the income generator acquisition is definitely in the very near future | boodgewoodge
02/11/2016 19:19 | This is certainly a strange one. The amount of movement on relatively low volume is quite staggering. But which way is it going?? | mackie
02/11/2016 13:47 | Announcement today shows support from the government, as is significant in that IWUL likely to go the same way! | 2bozmo
02/11/2016 11:54 | someone is seeing some value at these levels on the JSE , share price being supported/pushed upwards , following an accumulative trend , something on the coals here perhaps ? | boodgewoodge
28/10/2016 10:48 | Yes they are hemorrhaging money like there is no tomorrow (over $8 m in the last quarter) and still we have nothing to show for it. | sandman99
28/10/2016 07:16 | from the tone of mr DB , that income generating acquisition is about to materialize , if the board is discussing funding then they have more than identified a cash generator | boodgewoodge
28/10/2016 07:13 | So.... 8.00am RNS - and there we have it . Sweet Fanny Adams! Not a thing achieved. May as well just cut and paste every other RNS. It really is saying something when the highlight of the report is :- "Salient Operational Features -- No lost-time injuries ("LTIs") recorded during the quarter (FY2016 Q4: nil)." Seeing as every mine is mothballed - what LTi's could we possibly anticipate? - DB fell asleep at his desk and fell off his chair? | ianio5691
25/10/2016 13:02 | I have read the report - But ..... The clear plan as I read it is to seek and acquire a cash generating asset. This has been on the cards for over a year - with the failed UC deal and subsequent hints of a successful conclusion of something by the end of Oct. | ianio5691
25/10/2016 12:43 | 100 % in agreement , income generating asset acquisition is item 1 to 10 on the priority list . the question is how much of time do we have before we become a non sustainable entity ( from the conference call May 2107 seemed to have come up or did i misunderstand the auditors comments ) , secondly how are going to fund the acquisition ? | boodgewoodge
25/10/2016 11:50 | Clear plan if read annual report (published yesterday) or 30-sep conference call | 2bozmo
25/10/2016 11:44 | Quarterly update due by end of this month, so let's hope we hear positive some progress | channel pirate
25/10/2016 11:22 | No production, but worse still - no clear plan or path to production. DB needs to get his finger out and get this show back on the road. World class assets with nothing but tumbleweed at the moment. What is going on..... UPDATE PLEASE!!! | ianio5691
25/10/2016 11:16 | minimal movement due to the difference between POTENTIAL and PRODUCTION , without a saleable product we might as well grow tomatoes | boodgewoodge
25/10/2016 11:04 | Why is this not moving in any correlation to the price of coal? Strange... Anyone any views on PDZ--Praire Mining and their coal reserves in Poland? | bigego
25/10/2016 10:57 | Big jump in coal/iron ore/rebar in China overnight. This gets more interesting by the day. Surprised so quiet in here. | 2bozmo
20/10/2016 15:19 | improving volume , but still sliding , albeit gently , any positive SENS / RNS and a DEFINITIVE plan of action next week should arrest this ridiculous downward spiral | boodgewoodge
20/10/2016 09:51 | 200k buy... | 2bozmo
20/10/2016 09:37 | Agreed Boodge. Spoke with company this morning. Once they get the approval for Vele they will take to the board and finalise plant modifications, off take agreements, outlook for coal prices etc. But you are correct, before this they hope to have a cash generating asset in place. They are, as you would hope, working flat out on it currently | 2bozmo
20/10/2016 08:14 | ensuring an immediate source of income is imperative for the sustainability of the company , the regulatory procedures can take lengthy periods of time even without objections , you cant make a scene without the green that's the bottom line | boodgewoodge
20/10/2016 04:12 | Vele water licence is not an issue they have that granted for 20 years. It is the permission for the stream diversion that they are waiting for. | sandman99
19/10/2016 14:54 | an acquisition , before Keaton gets to the airport as well , should be item 1 , item 2 should be taking Mooiplaats off our books (surely those potential suitors spoken about by the company whenever Mooiplaats is mentioned , have had more than sufficient time to finalize their due diligence and accumulate some funds ) , item 3 that of Vele's water license being finalized with the current water crisis ,community opposition to same and the time span to allow for production and an off take agreement to be negotiated , this option is scary to say the least . the directors have to show some confidence in the company and themselves , this will surely improve the sentiment around CoAL . as DB has said at the full year results , the SUSTAINABILITY of the company is going to be coming into question by May 2017 . not for lack of trying i am sure , we need that income generating asset NOW , otherwise CoAL will be putting off the lights at the airport together with theirs ! | boodgewoodge
19/10/2016 14:02 | We get an update next week and unlikely to tell me anything further about acquisition. Unfortunately a lot is out of their hands with regards to timelines. However, I believe there might be potential for directors to step up and invest as we maybe outside closed period. I also wonder now if best route now is restart production at Vele given rally in coal assets. We are however waiting on regulatory approval for water license. | 2bozmo
19/10/2016 13:54 | I also thought we might buy wescoal but that's flying. highest price since november 2013! think we've missed a great opportunity to pick up something dirt cheap*WESCOAL SEES 1H HEADLINE EPS BETWEEN 23.2, 27.8C VS 5.1C | 2bozmo |
