23/1/2024 12:34 | I’m hoping for more good news tomorrow. Did anyone else notice that in the presentation (@ around 18 mins) PC says that the 3-way deal ‘took’ (as opposed to ‘is taking’) a long time to sign. Perhaps he was paying more than a courtesy visit to China when he stopped there en route to Taiwan ….. | edgar40
23/1/2024 09:41 | Thank you. | brucie5
22/1/2024 23:27 | My understanding (I have added some question marks where I do not have references / I am not 100% sure. bmel / anyone, I would appreciate your corrections Power cell (SOFC process): fuel ( hydrogen / or other combustible gas) + cells (working in power mode conditions (?) produce electricity and heated gas (water steam (?) + CO2 (depending of fuel used) )at around 200 (?) degrees Celsius. The reverse reaction hydrolysis (SOEC process): overheated steam water (between 500 and 600C) + electricity + cell = hydrogen and oxygen Both processes use the same cell (?) but work at different (?) temperatures. For power mode, I don't know the temperatures of the reactions when hydrogen or natural gas (or other fuels, as can use several fuels) are used as fuel. | book5
22/1/2024 21:59 | Trading update on the 24th I notice from their calendar. Can someone please explain to me the distinction between "Ceres hydrogen" and "Ceres power?" as shown on slide 6 of their recent presentation here TiA. | brucie5
22/1/2024 21:53 | Apologies, I meant Electrolysisis (SOEC) From all you mentioned Bosh is validating our hydrolyser for two years Delta- according to the CWR presentation, they are starting with power Is Shell testing out our hydrolyser in India for the next two years? Wechei, we don't know much At the moment Power (SOFC) is our primary market, pitty Europe is rushing away from gas. | book5
22/1/2024 21:05 | Do not confuse your belief with the market’s. Bosch, Weichai, Doosan, Shell and Delta and ‘the market’ and they are jointly investing huge amounts of their cash in the CWR product. You also do not seem to understand the difference between hydrolysis and electrolysis. | bmel
22/1/2024 19:55 | To me, it sounds like it is another option to make use of waste heat We will compete with current usages of that waste heat and probably involves lots of investment Imho The market does not believe yet our hydrolysis will take off; hopefully, that will change | book5
22/1/2024 18:53 | I wonder if the nuclear power generation industry could use SOEC technology. To me it seems like a good fit, lots of waste heat. The hydrogen could be stored and then used for other industrial applications and transportation. | wilmer100
22/1/2024 14:17 | Patience needed. The protracted decline has been a severe trauma to confidence. All being well, the chart will turn unambiguously in due course, but until then it may remain cloudy with strong chance of meatballs. ;) | brucie5
22/1/2024 12:14 | iMHO If we can hold above 220 today we should see 340 in short order over next couple of weeks | nov31

22/1/2024 08:38 | Indeed it is. I don't know if it has anything to do with Oakbloke's recent substack. | brucie5
22/1/2024 08:17 | Good morning, the sky is blue on Cwr😃😃 | book5
20/1/2024 11:52 | Speculation on LSE as to possible US partner; do any of the board experts have a view? | brucie5
19/1/2024 13:57 | Many thanks, I will do that Regards | book5
19/1/2024 13:55 | book5, Search google for Bard. Bard is googles AI Chat program. It can answer all these questions very succinctly (if you ask the right question). You have to sign up for Bard but there's no downside. Much recommended. | horneblower
19/1/2024 13:52 | Glad to see it back over £2 already. | brucie5
19/1/2024 13:50 | Does the decarbonisation for heavy industry require? -hydrogen to generate heat -Recover part of the waste heat used in the industrial processes to generate hydrogen I would appreciate it if someone in the industry provided some references Another question; why electricity can’t decarbonised many industries, why they will need hydrogen? Thanks | book5
19/1/2024 12:40 | Money where my mouth is: I've picked some up this morning, with contingency to buy some more on further weakness. I find the tech behind the story difficult to understand, but on the principle of the cornershop this now shaping up to be not so much the shop itself, but the technology that offers the shop a way to significantly upgrade and greenify its energy requirements. And since the cornershop in question is largescale industry in Asia, I think the market opportunity is more than commensurate with present risk. Please correct me if I'm wrong; but there now appears to be an additional heavyweight client in Delta, alongside Weichei/Bosch and the prospect of an extra £43m dropping onto the income column for this calendar year? I think this is the bottom and rarely do the markets offer you opportunities that are actually this good. All of which makes me nervous, as of course, looking around the room for the patsy, it is still very possible that I might indeed he! ;) Edit: Correction to above re revenue as per RNS: "The agreement includes revenue of GBP43 million to Ceres through technology transfer, development license fees, and engineering services, of which approximately half is expected to be recognised as revenue in 2024". | brucie5

19/1/2024 08:48 | I would like to learn about the decarbonisation of industrial processes And how Ceres cells can help | book5 |
