I'm leaving these alone for 3 years to build up not taking dividends but buying with the dividends I see where we are then .

This company will not recover under conn. The city doesn't like his strategy and he's running out of things to sell to fund the future dividends. Said it before and will say it again this is going bellow a pound

To all those who've shared today thank you. It's helped. Maybe we can start a " fund us " fund . But who's going to donate to people who've enough savings to buy shares in the first place? Bottom line is I can afford the loss I just HATE losing money.

sorry to read your early morning post mitchy. We have all been there and it is not good. I am only in for a few thousand at £1.45 so not too troubling. At the moment this share is a dog but I will sit it out until it drops a lot lower if only for the divi. Good luck Mitchy.

Mitchy, I moved most of my money into funds...now I sleep better. Shares are only great to hold when on the rise, but I've also been badly stung when they reverse. These will come good one day.

Who would have thought that buying into a solid blue chip company earning good profits and INCREASING profitswould cost us all so much ? This was supposed to be a SAFE low risk low return stock. An alternative toalmost zero interest on a savings account.

Think twice before dumping.
we investors know of your pain.
It forces us into the wrong moves to bring the pain to an end.

But how will you feel in 6 months time if the share recovers after you have sold.
I suffer as much pain when dumping shares followed by a recovery, as I do when buying shares that fall.

Fight it, go out and buy some more, sod it.
Are you a man or a mouse?

Having spent last night reading up on cna's contingency plans for a No DealBrexit it looks like they are as prepared as any . I'm non the wiser really though .Another extension or some kind of deal or even revoking of article 50 seems like the preferred choice. But I don't know. I'm just not bright enough to figure it all out.

Your health is more important than any share, if you can move forwards with your life and selling makes you feel better, that would be my choice. I have been in the same boat over the years and now only invest what does not give me unnecessary grief

Thank you for your kind words . Really don't know what to do. Although down its not terminal as the lloytrades recently helped. I know the relief would be massive if I closed. Good Luck.

As much as I feel for any investor who has lost money I have lost more than I care to mention. Sadly on my opinion this share has no upside presently as the dividend is not sustainable as there is no div cover. The sooner the div is cut to say 8p them we can move forward, at this rate the shares will be slowly pushed down as the market does not like the current div policy amongst other weaknesses.

It's times like this when all seems lost that things can turn around. Don't know what will happen here but never let it take over your life. One positive could easily turn this oil tanker around but it'll take time.Good luck

A 2 tier system set up which is in favour of the insiders...and they never get sacked for underperformance...instead a golden goodbye onto the next project as they might just see their pals again... there is a disconnect from share price performance to company performance...and never CEO at fault...always out factors or others...makes you wonder why bother dealing in shares...you are actually paying for insiders lifestyle...

Totally agree shareholders lost millions, jobs lost and Conn pockets a 44% pay rise absolutely disgraceful.
