When it appears on Motley Fool radar it tends to drop another 10%...so that would bring it down to the round figure of 100p consideration...no doubt heavy 2 way action awaiting around 100p if it gets there which is very likely...

diku : Your post ...776... That's true . I actually had some shares in Marconi ..! I seem to recall there was a generous scrip issue at the back end of the '80s ..which enhanced my holding and enabled me to get out with a profit ! However I venture to suggest ..'a completely different animal' ...in every sense . I wouldn't compare Marconi in what was a highly competitive fast rationalising electronics market which was having to adjust to dynamic changes in the aircraft / missile/ satellite fields....with a major player in the utility sector.
