28/3/2019 09:12 | the drop is to give opportunity for Mercer to further lower the average price of his belonging Historically, big roller coaster is common in footsie companies | 338
28/3/2019 09:07 | I would have thought it was about now 338... don't really see why it ought to drop much more. Or, if you are playing silly games as you are surely then just 1 or 2p would be absolutely ideal? | kiwi2007
28/3/2019 09:06 | kiwi, ideally the entry point is 75p - 90p then? | 338
28/3/2019 09:03 | 2020...The dividend will be cut to between 9 to 10p. Earnings will be around 11 to 12p and the share price ought to recover to around 150p. That was from a fortune teller on Blackpool sea front. | kiwi2007
28/3/2019 09:02 | Conn keeps selling energy production assets, which he might be the right person to do so but shifting focus to retail business is certainly not his expertise He should have invested more on future technology and renewable energy production. Investing more and more money in retail will only drive profit from efficiency as any increase in margin will get capped my OFGEM... so basicly the money injected to the retail sector will be passed on for public benefit instead of shareholders... that's way the share price plummeting... I think :) It would have been much different if CNA invested more money in future technology and renewable energy production, we maight still see CNA staying at £2 - £3 regions ... just a hypothesis from 338 :) | 338
28/3/2019 08:56 | Lloyd's is a penny share. It's a wind up!! :) | nortic 007
28/3/2019 08:49 | CNA should move into energy production and away from the retail side in the UK and concentrate on the US where the government don't stick there nose in for cheap votes. | gaffer73
28/3/2019 08:48 | Imo a true penny share company has a share price of one pence and below | masterblaster
28/3/2019 08:41 | Even if it went below £1 cna will still be valued at over £5 Billion pounds.imo most penny share companirs have a value of only a few million pounds. You cannot compare cna to them as a possible penny share. | masterblaster
28/3/2019 08:41 | Conn is selling America assets Rough gas field coming to an end, he's not going to have the cash to pay high dividends soon, going to miss financial forecasts this year, profit warning looming only a matter of time till CNA is below a pound. | waynex
28/3/2019 08:36 | The longer he stays silent the longer the share price will drift. Time to make tuff decisions Mr Conn. | nortic 007
28/3/2019 08:34 | If Conn was to resign that would stick 10p on them at the open. I've read those figures and his statement. He just doesn't sound that fully committed. It's like he's only just doing enough. A stronger man at the helm would be a breath of fresh air and the City has it in for Conn so a change of leadership would be a positive. | nortic 007
28/3/2019 08:28 | 16p more down to become a penny share :) | 338
28/3/2019 08:19 | We need a good take over rumour to put a rocket up these!!! | masterblaster
28/3/2019 08:18 | But unless we are offered a take over price near £2.00 most will be under water.what price would we get if utilities were renationalised? Imo its so expensive labour will never do it. | masterblaster
28/3/2019 07:50 | ...plus, shell have announced they have big plans for the energy sector! | jordaggy
28/3/2019 07:42 | Snorky - at 10% + yield it looks tempting doesn't it ? But is it worth the worry ?Electric cars should be making this fly but the opposite is the case !?Good Luck. | mitchy
