Wouldn't it be nice if these politicians could read your post. They might actually learn something !!Unfortunately it's all about saying want they think people want to hear. If it's not a vote winner then no politician will make that bold move. It's the the same with stamp duty.Shame we can't have a caption of industry as PM...... our equivalent to Trump.

Instead of these politicians whining on about how much energy costs they should have a look at council tax. Mine is far more than my energy costs and has gone up 4% this year. They should also note of how many of those who are struggling have mobile phones, drink and smoke. These energy companies are running a business, if there's no money in it, why bother? If they all went bust who would provide our needs???

I see the energy giants are being moaned at , 8 million customers are in credit and stash 900 million of their money instead of giving them it back

No diku I don’t think anyone does care enough to tell you about Conn’s pension situation, in the big scheme of things it’s pretty irrelevant IMO Try looking it up if it’s that important to you,I’m a trader , not a help desk,I need answers not more questions,no offence, good luck with your trades.

Mitchy, CNA EPS hit over 26 pence a share in 2013, a similar level in 2012.
The share price has mirrored the decline in earnings. That's how it looks to me at least.
Consensus EPS is around 11 pence this year.

Slowly recovering on a poor day for us. Still think this will be positive by the end of the week. Would not be surprised to see this hit 130p by 8th May, fingers crossed

Centrica down 2% making 10%+ yield on a day when Tesla report record quick miles ahead of forecasts. Makes no sense to me.

Centrica will bounce back regardless of Conn IMO Utilities are part of the bedrock of the market, the cash flow is the key,the amount changes but it never stops flowing, direct debits, the Holy Grail for all companies, obviously I could be wrong DYOR but I’m just gonna keep holding for now GLA

Mentioned at the time of the unexpected equity raise a couple of years back
that I would have little confidence in the current CEO.
Just a few months prior to the capital raise they had sung the praises
of their robust balance sheet. Thought it looked a value trap then as
posted, and the share price has been decimated since. Anyone buying is brave,
but may be RDSB could see some value here, that's highly speculative.
