COPX still has to more than double to get back to its 2011 highs, but is some 150% up from its 2016 lows.

I've changed it to COPA. That looks about right, but it might be a smoothed index, or cash or futures. It has the right shape (jumped up at the start of November and late July) and it's just nudging 3, or 30, which is the right number.

I found it by looking up "copper price ETF". There are several ETFs with differing versions of the price.

CAML realised $4,990/tonne for its copper sales in H1/2016

Took it down as far as 242p with small 'AT' trades but still could't generate any reported selling - plenty of buying not hitting the book all the way down though.

Interesting L2 price action this morning - nearly all the 'O' trades have been buys at/very close to the full offer price but virtually all of it has not hit the book - most 'AT' trades have been very small sell trades at the bid price and most hit the book taking out the bid.

I added as well. Chunky dividend from elsewhere coming this week and it'll be going straight into CAML for the yield and capital growth.

I think that it's more likely that yesterday's spike was just that - a spike. Looks to have retraced equally as quickly. Somebody buying in a hurry drove up the share price. Pity really, I was hoping that we would move on rather than move back.

L2/Walked down by MM's this morning on very low volume - short of stock? - looks to have achieved little other than small buyers taking advantage of the lower prices.

Copper up again and clear of $3.10, hopefully it will stay clear this time.

General markets looking like they are going to be more positive today and so hopefully we can move on further into unchartered territory.

warranty, would be surprised personally. More likely that an order got filled whether it was a buy/sell. 2nd liners always catch up with commodity price rises after the majors. They have been strong and now it is our turn. If we can get above all time highs, if we haven't already today, then only greed will hold this back as I feel that these are still very undervalued with the way that the copper price has gone over the last year. Do also remember that we have had a seller in Fidelity that hasn't helped sentiment.

Good thing about the rise today is that there was reasonable volume behind it on a bad day for the markets in general.
