29/8/2017 16:27 | Flying into the close, makes me think tomorrow will be good too :-) | return_of_the_apeman
29/8/2017 16:13 | Yup, closing in on the all time high. | mount teide
29/8/2017 16:04 | Cash on the balance sheet destined for pockets of shareholders Nice rise here again today | return_of_the_apeman
29/8/2017 14:16 | it could be where the cash on the balance sheet is destined awaitng first test results from Shuak must be due soon | ntv
29/8/2017 14:13 | Copper bay was economic at $3 from memory but i doubt it would be developed at the price copper is now. maybe when it reaches $4 | ntv
29/8/2017 11:27 | I wonder what these sorts of copper prices do for the feasibility of the Copper Bay project in Chile? CAML must be thinking it's a more attractive prospect now. I suspect they'd like to see these sorts of prices hold for quite a long time before and go higher still before they decided to go ahead with it. | shakeypremis
29/8/2017 11:12 | Very few of the mostly buy transactions this morning are hitting the offer side of the book - looks like there is a line of stock to clear @ circa 248p. | mount teide
29/8/2017 11:00 | still no reaction to the large jump in the copper price | ntv
28/8/2017 09:27 | Through $3.09 as I type. | gary1966
24/8/2017 16:45 | Copper through $3.04/lb - close to $2,000/tonne more than CAML realised per tonne in H1/2016, and circa $1,800 more than H2/2016 | mount teide
24/8/2017 16:43 | Copper up 2% and CAML down 2% - strange world we live in. | spittingbarrel
22/8/2017 15:56 | Greetings hiddendepths. Good to see you again. CAML making up for my disappointments elsewhere :-) | lord gnome
22/8/2017 10:54 | Hey guys - there really isn't any stock in the market. Bought a mere 4000 shares but couldn't do it at the 243 offer price in one go. Then bought some in another account - could only get 1500 at the offer. Lots of things going for this company with copper up here. My mining guru reckons they can add plenty of reserves cheaply if exploration is now economic. | hiddendepths
22/8/2017 10:48 | Copper catching a rising hedge fund tailwind! Mining.Com - Betting on better copper price - 21 Aug 2017 'On the copper derivatives market hedge funds built long positions to a new record high last week according to the CFTC's weekly Commitment of Traders data. So-called managed money investors' net longs now total over 120,000 lots, the equivalent of 3 billion pounds or 1.36m tonnes worth around $9 billion at today's prices. On the London Metal Exchange, hedge funds have also increased their bullish bets in recent weeks and according to LME data net longs total over 74,000 lots. LME contracts are for 25 tonnes which translates into more than 1.8m tonnes worth some $12.3 billion. LME data will be updated tomorrow.' | mount teide
22/8/2017 10:11 | Arf - tell them to calm their nerves by having a look at the price of copper in early April circa $2.54, compared to today $3.01, some 19% higher! | mount teide
22/8/2017 09:33 | Some technical analysts will be looking at the share price of early April and getting nervous. However, there are more things in heaven and earth than are dreamed of by technical analysts. | arf dysg
22/8/2017 09:13 | Backing up the truck today. Everyone is convinced copper is going higher and CAML is already undervalued. | samdb
22/8/2017 08:19 | Copper price making a sustained attack on $3 this morning - every 3 cents rise is close to a US$1m in additional CAML revenue/profit at the forecast level of annual production. | mount teide
21/8/2017 23:58 | Thanks for the responses, £3 and 7% yield seems like a minimum to me and undervalued. With a return pa of 20p these will still yield 5% at £4. Hopefully copper can push on quickly after it finally breaks $3 | return_of_the_apeman
21/8/2017 22:03 | I can see a slight raise in the divi but I'd be surprised at such a big jump Gary and would think a decent special more likely. I'd say probably 16.5p total with a 5p special more likely and more sensible in the long run. | warranty
21/8/2017 20:15 | I think the divi will end up being at least 21p this year and so potentially at £3 these will still yield 7%. Throw in the possibility of a special dividend as well. Still see this as being very good value at these levels but possibly need the results to ram the message home. | gary1966
21/8/2017 19:59 | Laat analysts research I read said that at $3 lb this was worth 268p NAV | elsa7878
21/8/2017 19:12 | I think £4 is a tad over the top, apeman. £3 would do for me - with a decent yield. | lord gnome |
