Just a nice bit of balance Cinque ... nice and healthy . Don't like the look of the drop in POG ... $1470 as I type so decided to go cash and see what happens the next few days . RNS not until 3 weeks so , as stated on this thread , I half expect the share price to get played anyway until the financials confirm a big fat profit .. they should . Interesting to see Pardey confirm at trade show that the 2nd half production is looking in line with guidance . So unless he has dropped a clanger then free cash flow dividend will be increased . Platinum falling through the floor at the same time .. down 4.9% today . Looking like perceived risk off ? Need Trump to step in :-)

Got my divi at sharecentre on Friday, Barclays as ever is late and, despite calling twice, as usual still hasn’t come. Each year they say they pay it late because of the conversion from dollars, can you elect to have it paid in pounds, at the Cey conversion rate, in a nominee account. It is truly poor service

Kennyp52 and Plat Hunter:

Re:talking the share up or down here:

We seem to have plenty of people here, talking this share up and plenty of people talking it down.

So,I would think that would create an equal number of followers for rampers and shorters etc.

You at it again Plat ... subtle mind games that 121p is time to sell to see if enough sales drive the share price down to a bargain so you can get in ? Just get in now ... easy 20% in the next 6 minutes months , maybe even at next RNS . You missed the boat last time time preaching sub 70p . Bash , bash eh ?

Regardless of company fundamentals and what you think about them, be aware of breaking 120 to the south.

If I was long i'd be using 121 as a signal to close out.

might not be cuts they're doing open market operations quite frequently at the moment as the markets have liquidity problem, basically pay as you go QE on the sly. BoE has mentioned a rate cut even if there is a Brexit deal basically there's a general issue with liquidity going on that came out of the blue, which caused the FTSE to surge up a few hundred points in the past few days. The suspicion is banks are tightening lending at the moment for whatever reason.

Tks CJAL ...interesting read. According to my calc that's about 6% of annual production at a price of approx 1300 dollars per ounce ... for 65kg per month at 50m egy£. Wonder if the price paid by Egypt escalates with $ gold price or are CEY subsidising it?

Thank you C9AJL.
Good to see that Andrew Pardey, chief executive of Centamin, is expecting higher gold production in second half of this year as a result of increased open-grade mining.

We tend to rise and fall more on intraday trading gold prices- we didn’t rise much this morning on overnight gold jump and moved in the day with price- hope for same
tomorrow- no conspiracy theories just the way it works- i think once gold drops and keep dropping all sorts of auto stuff kicks in and then a bounce- odd fall though-

POG 25 dollars off in no time ... just shows you huh ? Positives on China / US trade war ? Anyway ... in general I just get a feeling the market wants to drag the POG back pulling down miners stocks ... coiling it like a spring .... then letting it go again to make some tidy gains . Absolutely no evidence of this ... just the way it looks / feels and the way some stocks are up and down like yoyo's.
