03/10/2019 10:20 | Bring on 90p I say ... cash sitting waiting . Lot of us been here before and it will end up representing an opportunity to get in cheap . You do wonder if that is company policy for their mates ! If it is then follow the crowd I say . Wallywoo .. totally agree with your comments .. resource is massive ... but when news like this comes out this share gets hammered so for me you need to be out until a bottom forms . | kennyp52
03/10/2019 10:16 | Greenelf .. look at the figures he has given 32k production per month through Q3 . They now need 160k in Q4 . The grades need to be 64% higher from the same mined tonnage . If they are moving into higher grade ( the same excuse has been given for 2 years now ) then this is entirely possible and the company could still end up reporting a substatial full year profit . POG is say 20% higher . Could be a swing and roundabout . All about production as always my concern with this CEO . Resource and mine life will mean this will report good profits ... some time in the future ! | kennyp52
03/10/2019 10:16 | Interesting development. Shame to perform so badly with such a high price. Looking good for a long term investment - bottom picking is tricky but anything sub 100 would be a very good deal Watching carefully | trentendboy
03/10/2019 10:15 | I wonder where capitulation is today? | bulltradept
03/10/2019 10:13 | too true this stock can sink lower than you think lol. Last time I got these at an average of 84p it's a roller coaster stock | creditcrunchies
03/10/2019 10:12 | I was out at an avg of 119- had a limit at 122 so too high so didn't hit at open- I then hovered and bottled it at 120.8- won't go back in for a while- dented my profits here, but overall handsome ones although would have been sooooo much higher had I bailed a few weeks ago. You can't always buy at the lowest or sell at the highest, but get somewhere in between and all good. My best to all those still in and long, and for all those who hit losses this year. | stevedaytrader
03/10/2019 10:12 | See my post the other day.. Short goes on at 120 signal... So predictable CEY... I did start long a few years ago but I find it easier to make money here by shorting the chart periodically. Buyers, wait for the base and remember that the safest place to pick up a knife from, is the floor. GLA including those with opposing views lol | plat hunter
03/10/2019 10:10 | Obviously kennyhas not seen the news this morning ... | greenelf
03/10/2019 10:07 | Good policy Cinquepercento ... I am out sharpish . Once this gets a drop it tends to keep going . Email to the company .... Dear Mr Pardey As a shareholder filled with optimism of POG consistently around $1500 , the fantastic production team in place before the start of 2019 ( your words ) and the potential windfall profits that were predicted with opportunities to “add” to production guidance in your previous RNS statements ... I feel misled . Retirement is simply not good enough for me . You have failed 2 years on the trot now and resignation is more palatable given the resources of this mining company . Please give it your consideration | kennyp52
03/10/2019 10:05 | Total over reaction for lower end of guidance. Opportunity! | greenelf
03/10/2019 10:01 | I will stay out and wait for 100 pence or lower. Good luck to all those who jump back in now, make a quick profit and jump out again. | cinquepercento
03/10/2019 09:55 | Wahay - nice opportunity soon | borisjohnsonshair
03/10/2019 09:54 | This will bounce strongly. Qtr on Qtr performance is not an exact science (there is only 1 mine and any number of things can effect it - the current qtr is because the open pit is interacting with underground and there are safety concerns, all reasonable imo). The important thing is reserves and production capacity, and gold price and they are all sorted. I have bgt this thinking it will likely merge or be bought out (CEO going just makes that more likely). I know the number crunchers look at historic P/E and say it is fully valued, but they don't see the 15% increase in the gold price, or the likely possible big increases in the future. Neither do they take into account the cash rich nature of this business, and its ability to expand. Potential buyers know all that. let the bears have their day, but give it a few months this will look very different, imo | wallywoo
03/10/2019 09:52 | stevedaytrader they were supposed to have installed a new super duper team last December an£ now he is saying they have been doing the same in Q3 . It stinks and they should be making hay at the moment from higher grades getting as much of the yellow stuff out of the ground as possible . Still going to be showing a big profit just not the substantial one shareholders expect . At least they are cheap again and we can start day trading some profits again | kennyp52
03/10/2019 09:44 | Problem with this company Kenny is the way they just "leak" bad news ie presentation and now this low guidance with the announcement of the CEO going- Y/E could be a miss now, this feels like Feb all over again. As you say, a new CEO will help, I thought at the start of the year they had sorted out management issues with new appointments, seems to me lots of internal arguments now caused him to go- a company needs to evolve, will come back but will have to take a few more hits now before I suspect. | stevedaytrader
03/10/2019 09:42 | looks like 110p might be the place to add a few more. | ukgeorge
03/10/2019 09:21 | Worth getting in but just not at this price, I reckon another 10p to bottom. Problem is there is poor news to come n any surprises will hit share price again. That said gold is strong so there will be some buyoncey | astjgroom
03/10/2019 09:18 | Big sell off now alas. | stevedaytrader
03/10/2019 08:59 | surprised its holding up as well - i exited at around 1.22 - a new CEO doesn't necessarily mean an immediate turnaround - a few like to start with a clean slab and do some dirty kitchen cleaning! | darius12
03/10/2019 08:57 | Holding up well considering, so far, maybe it's cos the CEO has gone... fingers crossed | stevedaytrader
03/10/2019 08:17 | about time he went | stevedaytrader
03/10/2019 08:12 | Jump in at 120 or so and out again at 124.50 or so ,trade it on the way down? | cinquepercento
03/10/2019 08:09 | Also think the CEO going ironically could be a positive....new broom etc, better management of IR. POG is still v. high, it is un-leveraged and making hay.....IMO painful tho... | qs99
03/10/2019 08:02 | i sold at a small loss - will wait to see what happens | darius12 |
