$1360 didn't hold but I did notice we touched the elusive €1100 mark. Possible head and shoulders formation in play with a neckline at $1350 and a target of $1335. Should we pull back beyond that, support at $1320 and then around $1300. 200d sma is at $1295 atm and rising. Resistance clearly still around $1360. If we break and hold we could run to $1375 or even the $1400 area and then maybe pull back to retest $1360.

Finally got my divi posted into my account last night and dated April 6th. These brokers love to hang on to your money.

Thank UKGoeorge I'll check them out, I'm currently with Hargreves Lansdown who are very good but it's good to see if there's even better out there. Only problem with Hargreves Lansdown is I can't buy some overseas shares that can't trade via crest.But Bestinvest are certainly not Best value as they claim regarding charges.

I Just checked Bestinvest to see if they would be a good option to move my ISA over to. But their yearly charges are totally ridiculous, they charge 0.4% for £250,000 that's £1,000 per year!!!!! madness! At Hargreves Landsdown and youinvest they limit their yearly charges to £50 per year. Who would pay such extortionate fees.

I agree Davius. Walked down in small lots all day long, stops getting hit occasionally until the 200 day moving average was reached. An outsized reaction to the pre-lims IMO but all goldies getting hit today in the rise of oil without corresponding rise in gold.

Auto trading would be my guess, it's dropped by 1p an hour pretty consistently all day, which suggests constant light selling. Cliché as is it, MANIPULATION! Lol.

Melody9999, just from memory I'm afraid, so I'd check to be certain:

A director was put onto the remuneration committee.
Some institutional holders did not like this & voted against him being reappointed as a director.
As the vote was against him being reappointed, he was removed from the board.
He was appointed another position within the company.
I think there was another director who was in a similar position but the vote did not go against (maybe it is this person who is being voted against now?)

I don't think there were any accusations of actual impropriety taking place, just that there was the potential for a conflict of interest.

Hope that helps, but worth getting other opinions / checking out the AGM from last year to be certain as my memory is not too good nowadays.
