03/6/2010 08:49 | no, you go ahead, hold your breath HateTrader :-) Mibht save a few punters a few bob if they don't follow your dogs. CR | cockneyrebel
03/6/2010 08:29 | Typical results day scenario, anybody not brilliant is sold off. Now what a time for the directors to buy again, i wont hold my breath though. | watchout2
03/6/2010 08:25 | I'm out for a 8% loss. Don't like the fact they intend selling down the 37% stake in CAH to raise finance. I invested in CAH, not the UK operations. Did you know a company called Bluebird intend launching on Freeview by end of June? So more pressure on margins.... Bluebird dominate Sky........... Nice speculative punt but no cigar....... | burgerbarwomen
03/6/2010 08:17 | Sounds like the cash from India when realised isn't going to shareholders but going to support the rest of the business and investment in it to me. Good luck HateTrader but I wouldn't hold your breath imo - even the going concern statement was qualified. CR | cockneyrebel
03/6/2010 07:55 | If "positive" means profitable then it's a great turnaround. Throw Cah in for free and you have a bargain. Guess the mm's just see the overall loss, good times ahead. | watchout2
03/6/2010 07:29 | the annualised saving of > £3 mill on sky bandwidth alone should have a very positive result on 2010 figs!! | trixter
03/6/2010 07:27 | analyst - agreed! Hope they really do know the value of CAH based on this: "It is clear that the group has a substantial unrealised value in its CAH investment (which is cash neutral) and it is the group's intention, where possible, to make further partial realisations of this investment to provide funding for the group's additional ventures in the UK and other territories." | trixter
03/6/2010 07:05 | Results out and they seem very optimistic about both the current UK trading and CAH progress: Julian Paul, Chairman of Cellcast plc, commented: "We are pleased to report that our 2009 capacity investments and our decision to expense these costs to the detriment of 2009 earnings have already begun to pay off. As of April 2010, we began monetizing both the the Freeview capacity and the new services and applications in which we have been investing. As a consequence the group's performance was positive during both April and May, a trend which we expect to continue throughout the remainder of 2010. Lastly, but significantly, Cellcast Asia Holdings, which had a remarkable 2009, continues to perform well. The Directors look forward to reporting more fully on current year progress at the 2010 interim announcement stage." Quite surprised to see revenues continue to increase, which is good. Presumably 'positive' trading in April and May means profitable in the context its used, but it's not entirely clear. "The combination of available facilities and the prospect of net cash generative UK trading supports the presentation of the accounts on a going concern basis. " So, it sounds like they think they have the debt under control, which is promising | the analyst
02/6/2010 21:13 | I agree, fingers crossed for tomorrow ! Cah's figures however will be some of the best numbers you will see in a small cap in a short space of time, they alone should shore up any flat figures on the UK operations which need more time ! | watchout2
02/6/2010 15:16 | Well, we kind of already know the results for the UK business from the pre-close trading statement in December - loss-making, following their major investment in new channels being the order of the day. We also know the CAH results, following the update in February, big profits and huge increases in revenues What I'm hoping for really is news of a turnaround with the UK company since year-end and continued progress at CAH into H1. If we get both of those, then I think we will have reason to expect a re-rating as we head into the September results. Of course, as others mentioned , this is CLTV and anything can happen. There have been shocks before (both good and bad) and I'm sure there will be more to come! I think the risk-reward looks good, given those CAH figures, but it's basically fingers-crossed time! | the analyst
02/6/2010 13:15 | CLTV UK could be making 1 million/year. That would value the UK operations alone at 10-15 million ie double the share price Then you add CAH on top of that. I'm sure there will be news on both. | topgunns
02/6/2010 12:48 | TG : I really want you be right but this is CLTV we are talking abt, u never know with these guys. I am not so sure we will hear anything abt CAH, may be Q1 for CAH at best, which would be nice. These are CLTV 09 results and we already know abt CAH. Normally delayed results or published as late as possiable results are not good or flat news but I be more than happy to be wrong. RB | rb1206
02/6/2010 12:19 | No idea what to expect share price wise tomorrow. We could do anything from double to stay flat. Who knows. I don't see another big dive to 4.5p though. | topgunns
02/6/2010 09:17 | Thanks, 3 again, m o n e y a m are lets say not great at the moment with their L2 etc etc. | watchout2
02/6/2010 09:16 | Watch, I have WINs SCAP and KBC which one are you missing? | simonparker5
02/6/2010 09:12 | Watchout2 Ihave 3 on my screen. | simonparker5
02/6/2010 09:12 | The share price has multiplied by 10 over a year. Results will need to confirm the stellar growth that we have assumed in our price predictions of 20p and 50p. | topgunns
02/6/2010 09:10 | Have they dropped a market maker or is one missing ? I looked the other day and there was the usual 3 and today there is just 2. Cannot believe there would be just two, it's a pretty good stock for the mm's, not hard to make profits. | watchout2
02/6/2010 09:08 | maybe Craven would have waited with his sellsif he expected stellar results ? Might turn out to be a non-event ! Just speaking from experience, I'm hanging on to my shares | mister md
02/6/2010 08:58 | Looking forward to these results. Results days can be volatile, we know the Cah side will be brilliant but how about the rest, any sign of a improvement then the stock will get re-rated but they have not drop any hints have they, it's all been about Cah so i really would not know what would be classed as good results ? | watchout2
02/6/2010 08:34 | Cool, thanks! | the analyst
02/6/2010 08:33 | Yes. Got a reply this morning. | nickcduk
02/6/2010 08:08 | Expect some buying this afternoon then. | topgunns |
