16/5/2010 14:46 | Punters on those forums noticed a slip by one of the girls, when she talked on the mike, saying to them that they were watching a Bluebird Brand name, when in fact it was a Cellcast channel. Some of the forum posters took this to mean that Bluebird were taking over the Cellcast channel Time will tell, I guess... | the analyst
16/5/2010 14:40 | Looks like the Bluebird / Private Media partnership didn;t last long, so they may well have had to look elsewhere for mobile and internet distribution... Cellcast perhaps? Interview with Bluebird Boss, Paul Chaplin posted by BluebirdBlogger Friday March 12, 2010 "I have a special treat for you today. Our wonderful owner, Paul Chaplin, sat down with Hot Video to discuss the past, present and future of Bluebird. It's a fascinating look at a visionary in the industry." "Tell me about your partnership with Private. What's the point? PC: We tried working with Private. But we discovered that their culture and ours is not a good fit. So that experiment is over, with no regrets." | the analyst
15/5/2010 22:30 | Going through those threads and seems that Bluebird have purchased 8 channels so far! Plus, this comment from the Bluebird Rep: "We have acquired an existing Freeview channel and we are in discussions re others. So we will be on Freeview. Thanks" Does that mean freeview on top of those 8 channels? Whatever, it's a very rapid expansion... | the analyst
15/5/2010 12:15 | burgerbarwomen, You make a good point about the pound - it will certainly be having a very positive impact on the CAH earnings With regard to NC, I think someone mentioned that he may have been selling because of the LNG share price. I don't know if that is the case, but LNG took another plunge last week, so the sells do seem to correlate... One thing for sure, someone is buying the shares, but like you say - who is it? | the analyst
14/5/2010 17:42 | RNS out. So it was Craven who sold the 1m. But who is the buyer here? I've a real gut instinct that we could be looking at a takeover this year. Maybe an American adult content company, seeking exposure to the UK market.......alterna Crucially, the weak pound makes it more likely than not. | burgerbarwomen
14/5/2010 15:53 | It could be a roll over as well. | 28shaila09
14/5/2010 15:07 | Tug of war right now. Craven selling. Everyone else buying. The price spiked to new highs after he started selling. | topgunns
14/5/2010 14:32 | Those big trades are back on Plus. 1m sell at 4.5p (craven?) 1m buy at 4.62p? But who is buying and why? | burgerbarwomen
10/5/2010 10:49 | Youtube video of Cellcast India's Bid2Win show. | burgerbarwomen
07/5/2010 16:05 | Lets say its an educated guess. They said they are hoping to get them out in the second half of May. | nickcduk
07/5/2010 13:57 | TG : If u meant results, than, it was 27th June. | 28shaila09
07/5/2010 13:29 | Nick: Results end of May, is that ur Opinion or have you spoken to company or someone? Thx in Adv. | 28shaila09
07/5/2010 10:51 | True, 9th June last year. | topgunns
07/5/2010 10:04 | Results likely towards end of May rather than June. As they will be reporting profit from associates we may get a surprise on profitability. That should kick in even more for the current half year. | nickcduk
07/5/2010 09:57 | I predict a significant move up before the results towards the end of June. | topgunns
07/5/2010 00:36 | Cheers bbw, that is interesting I think it really could indicate the company is finally making good cash from the UK business. How else would they be able to invest in new ventures like this?I I know that these Directors are 100% committed to making Cellcast a HUGE company, so it doesn;t surprise me at all to see them taking on new market opportunities quickly Why they don't update the market, though, is anyone's guess... | the analyst
07/5/2010 00:13 | Hi Analyst Not so sure about your theory. Looks like a new launch from Cellcast. Take a look. The show also seems to have a sponsor at the commercial break. | burgerbarwomen
06/5/2010 18:22 | That does look like significant news. Can we presume there is cash available to spend, if they keep adding more channels like this? I think it would be worth them updating the market every time they win a new slot - the only time they have done that was when the share price started reacting and even then they never followed up on the announcement as promised Bit of reaction to the channels My guess is that at some stage they will convert the programming to adult chat after the watershed | the analyst
04/5/2010 12:59 | That 216k trade is Buy not sell. | 28shaila09 |
