Only in the context of an AGM....

When I enquired the delay was due to auditors having to visit India to satisfy themselves of CAH reporting.

There are many parallels with MDC management, unfortunately

Thought the same thing about Emanuelle, hahaha - mind you, if you thought it was just her name was appropriate, then wait until you actually meet her, lol!

I did but he was in a meeting and apparently a young lady called Emmanuelle is in charge of the finance function.....sounds kind of appropriate...lol. She was in the same meeting though. Nobody else could help but it reminds me of MDC the way every set of results is at the very end of legal reporting deadline !!

Not sure, David, leaving results until the last minute does seem to be a common trend with AIM microcaps

I've spoken to Andrew Wilson a few times - he's always been willing to chat if you fancy phoning him to ask...

Why does it take the BoD six months to get the results out ?

So, it looks like somebody just spent £30k+ on shares over a period of ten minutes, buying them in seven trades at 4.65p up to 5.4p

You buying in again, Kiop?

A lot of shares going through, has someone got a sniff of something good?

Just a quick tot-up and it seems he has sold over 5 million shares since the end of March, raising around £200k to £250k depending on the price he got for them. Quite a lot of cash

I think this selling really has suppressed the share price and I wonder where it would be without that overhang? Somewhere in the 8p region?

Just a couple of points on Neil Craven. As I understand it he has no leveraged positions in LNG so I don't think margin calls will be an issue. What I wouldn't rule out though is that he has used his LNG shares as collateral elsewhere. He may become a forced seller in CLTV. Any silly spikes lower and I will definitely be in for a few.

Hi Simon,

I was thinking the same thing when I read the LNG rns this morning

If that is the case, then perhaps this bodes well for CLTV - it would mean that there is nothing more to the recent selling here than it being forced. Good for GT, bad for NC (although he still holds a very big stake, so stands to profit hugely from CAH)

I see LNG has been suspended this morning due to a lack of cash. I wonder Craven knows what is going on at LNG i.e. could loose a lot, and hence why he is having to divest his other investments. Just a thought

Quite a drop offer wise pre-market.

Seriously tempted to top up, another sparkling Cah update cannot
be too far away eh ?

Thanks TA.

I did the old google search but there's just too many of the chap :-))

He obviously likes the CAH side of things.

There is quite a lot of info out there on Guy Thomas, described as a "shrewd investor", he has a stake in quite a few companies on AIM

Apparently he is an actuary and investor, this being his website (I presume)

Some published investment advice from the site, about how to invest, about the AIM market etc., both out-dated now, but gives a bit more background on Guy:

Is it anybody here on these boards?

I seem to remember that this chap was another one that made a lot of money on QXL

So, it might well be that NC is selling his stake to Guy

From the 2008 accounts:

"On the 29 February 2008 Cellcast Mobilité SEP and Cellcast France SARL were dissolved and have been treated as discontinued operations"

"As originally reported under UK GAAP, 2006 revenue was £21.9 million,
but following the termination of the limited term arrangements in
France, the transfer of the Indian and South East Asian entities to Cellcast
Asia Holdings and the deconsolidation of the Brazilian subsidiary for
the whole of 2007 due to the cessation of control during the year,
these activities have all been treated as discontinued operations in
2007, and 2006 has thus been restated accordingly."

The year before, these were the subsidiaries. Obviously, the Asian business is now CAH, but did we lose Ukraine along the way too? Also, I thought we still had Brazil, but we don't

[you will need to check these yourself, as I only skim-read]

Start TV Limited - United Kingdom - 100% Subsidiary

Cellcast TV SA - Argentina - 51% Subsidiary

Cellcast China Limited - Hong Kong - 80% Subsidiary

Cellcast International Limited - United Kingdom - 100% Subsidiary

Cellcast Asia Holdings Limited - India - 37.5% Associate

TOV Cellcast Ukraine Ukraine - 85% Subsidiary

My translation of this suggests there are 3 Cellcasts, in HK, Paris and London with a turnover of 50M Euro, one of which is listed on AIM . Is that correct?

Good spot, I have no idea, though.

If there is a connection, maybe it's the French FD?

What is the connection (if any) between AIM-listed Cellcast and Cellcast Media (based in France):

They seem to have a similar logo, for example! Any info out there?

I do like the new look Cellcast website. There is a page all about Cellcast Asia holdings and the following is from that page-

"Since this time Cellcast Asia's revenues and profits have increased dramatically. In fact, Cellcast Asia delivered revenues of US$6.4m in the second half of 2009, a 400% increase on the same period in 2008. Cellcast Asia anticipates that it will record second half 2009 profits of just over US$2m.

According to Cellcast Asia's CEO, Pankaj Thakar: "The rapid growth in 2009 is the result of several factors. The mobile market in India is delivering extraordinary opportunities for resourceful companies. We have fine-tuned existing programming, expanded distribution and launched new formats that have succeeded beyond expectations. We are now seeing the benefits of the expertise and focused understanding of consumer needs that we have built up over the last few years.

Further supporting Cellcast Asia's business model is the exponential growth of the Indian mobile market. With a record 19 million new subscribers in the month of December 2009 alone, India now boasts 525 million mobile subscribers - up 51.4% from December 2008, with continued room for expansion as penetration stands at just 40%.

Cellcast Asia forecasts continued growth through 2010, with increased distribution on the national DTH platform and greater penetration in regional markets as Hindi production expands into local languages such as Urdu and Tamil."

Sounds very positive to me.
