27/6/2008 18:37 | Not so bad afterall. The potential still remains, lets hope the web and 3G maintains the growth. I'm holding and will be very happy with "profit in 2008", particularly as we are currently valued at less than £2 million. RV | recto verso

26/6/2008 16:05 | Wondering when in 'The Summer' we will get an announcement from ofcom? The ofcom proposal document just says this: "Next steps A1.12 Following the end of the consultation period, Ofcom intends to publish a statement in summer 2008. " | ![]() the analyst
25/6/2008 20:36 | The progress on the cellcast websites continues.... No mention of party-people however ? RV | recto verso
25/6/2008 14:01 | The results should be released by Monday at the latest. Well, either that or the company goes into administration... I pretty much wrote my investment down as a dice roll with a 1 in 6 chance of surviving a while back. So much now depends on ofcom. We do have the investment in Cellcast Asian, although I don't know how the company can expect to realise any of the value from it. Could they sell their stake in the venture? I've not quite written it off completely, though. I think we'll get a bit of a better picture of whether the company can survive by Monday and a much clearer picture in the next results which must be released by the end of September. | ![]() the analyst

20/6/2008 20:10 | Children's entertainment rights owner Galleon Holdings has named former Cellcast exec Mahesh Ramachandra as global director of entertainment. In his new role, Ramachandra (left) will oversee Galleon's convergent media strategy. He will be charged with monetising the company's portfolio of entertainment properties across multiple platforms and territories, including the recently launched multi-platform show Super Soccer Star. Prior to joining Galleon, Ramachandra was VP of international and product development at Cellcast, overseeing interactive format programming across Cellcast's global network. Galleon Holdings' CEO Stephen Green said Ramachandra's appointment "comes at a time of aggressive growth for Galleon" and added: "Mahesh's wealth of multimedia and interactive TV expertise globally and especially in Asia will make him an invaluable asset to expand our business activities." 14/6/2008 22:54 | I think you could be right RV. My guess is that if the company can't make a profit after the revised regulation decision then we are looking at more fund-raisings or even administration. However, if they can make a profit, then we are looking at a potential multi-bagger. Are you of similar opinion, or perhaps more optimistic? | ![]() the analyst
14/6/2008 08:44 | Ofcome consultation period on TV PRS was extended to 3 June 2008, initially 22 May : "Responses to this Consultation 1.19 Stakeholders are invited to provide comments on the draft rules and on the specific questions set out in this consultation paper by 3 June 2008 (Consultation deadline extended from 22 May 2008). Details of how to respond are provided at Annex 1. We are allowing a consultation period of six weeks, as we have already held a ten week consultation on the question of how to regulate the promotion of PRS in programmes in order to ensure a proper degree of advertising separation. We also published a pre-consultation Issues Paper in December 2006, which identified the regulatory challenges posed by content predicated on the promotion of PRS and sought comments from stakeholders." This delay is more than likely responsible for the delayed results, IMO. RV | recto verso |
