Good luck to any share holder/s who have just bought.
As CLTV now appear on the brink of porn as well as continuing 'rs' performance - it is with pleasure I have just dumped my holding after a very depressing 2 years with this company.

Is good news on the way ?

Possibly news on the ofcom reg's, the submission date for companies operating PRS on tv was 22nd May.

I cant see any major changes to the cellcast channels, so possibly ofcom are happy that they comply with reg's.

This would obviously lift all doubt surrounding the cellcast products.

In addition to my previous question, I know there in the accounts somewhere, but can anyone please confirm how much the non-executives earn individually.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Does anyone have any idea about the UK 900+ channels and what their financial numbers are, revenue, gross, users, margin, et al.....

If anyone can please do the same for the quiz-formats , that would be good as well.

Thanks in advance.

Yours kindly,

at these levels they are a steal....an absolute steal....just a little worried about the forthcoming figures as no doubt they will be hit by the lack of revenue coming out of Brazil....any thoughts on that guys?

That's another 45k for me! It does not take much to shift the offer.

Mm's certainly punishing those that want out. 1.5p for 40k and they drop the mid for a measly 600 quid.

Hi,

Anyone else having problems with the cellcast.tv / cellcast.co.uk website?
-related to a statement??

Also, could anyone ask the company if the Irish Wilsons are related to the CEO?

Kind regards,

Would explain the sudden drop in Alexa rankings...

Alexa changes website ranking system

Web traffic rankings site Alexa.com (a division of Amazon) has finally changed it's ranking system. Alexa will no longer measure data based on users of the Alexa toolbar, rather ranking sites based on aggregating data from various sources.

Alexa announced the changes this past week, noting that many websites will notice significant changes in their rankings. Although the service has been popular with smaller sites, which don't qualify for Nielsen rankings, critics have long argued that Alexa's reliance on data from toolbar users skewed the results and created biased rankings.

Alexa rankings data that dates beyond the previous nine months will no longer be available, but in the company blog Alexa reported ongoing plans to adjust historical data too. In the meantime, Alexa graphs will now only show the past 9 months.

Analyst,

"A quantity of the content from this 24-hour TV station comes from Sumo TV, a UK online video sharing community which also has its own cable channel and has clips including outtakes from Podge and Rodge."

Surely buzz tv are paying sumo tv for the content ? or possibly "licencing" the content and website ?

Lets hope this is the start of a new JV between the two companies.

RV

PS Do you think Peter and Lynsey WILSON are related to Andrew Wilson CEO ? More than likely a coincidence.

"New Irish TV channel creates interactive buzz

16.05.2008 - Buzz TV, which launched earlier this year on Chorus and NTL, is a YouTube-type station that aims to create a social networking vibe around watching television, and says it is Ireland's first interactive TV channel.

This Irish TV station looks at a programming model with a new media slant, focusing on the viewer and the popularity of social networking and user-generated content. Peter and Lynsey Wilson, the team behind Buzz TV, said it does this with elements including viewer participation in some of the programmes, the ability to upload content and live TV chat.

A quantity of the content from this 24-hour TV station comes from Sumo TV, a UK online video sharing community which also has its own cable channel and has clips including outtakes from Podge and Rodge.

Peter Wilson, owner of Blackdog Communications, and one of the duo behind Buzz TV, said this channel is "capturing corners of the market currently left uncovered by other Irish stations" and hopes this model will change how broadcasters look at the traditional television model.

"We also believe Buzz TV will become a reference point in highlighting the changes in TV and how it's taking a leap forward into a new, enriched media conduit that is as much about networking as it is about broadcasting," he said.

"We've already received feedback that Buzz TV is an excellent option for advertisers hoping to reach an increasingly elusive target market – the social networker."

Buzz TV extends its reach into the web with a presence on both MySpace and Bebo and offers YouTube-esque video clips on the MySpace site but there is no indication of how viewers may submit say, video content that they might already have stored on their MySpace or YouTube accounts."

Hi,

Thanks TA.

I think that the company, as a cross-platform operator, could do a lot to legitimise itself and gain larger awareness then it has to date, or that most of its competitors could achieve.

If it had a decent enough share-price, it could also add relevant bolt-on acquisition to all of its areas of operations.

Kind regards,

MN

Darcon, I think the unique selling point is that people see these lovely, innocent, approachable, young ladies on TV with their clothes on and wonder what they look like when they get a bit more naughty. I think it's the fact they get to know them a bit on the TV that encourages them to sign-up to the website. They want to see what they are missing.

I don't know if it will be a big hit or a big flop, but certainly there is a lot of money in the industry and they do have a unique selling point, so it does have potential, imo.
