Another one for fans of the liar Masterman.

The company have not complied with AIM rule 26 on their website. Am I missing a trick somewhere? Has the company produced another website under a different address and forgotten to tell the market?

Take a look at Rule 26 compliance on any credible company web page and you'll see where CSH are in breach

From the 20th February:

"The Company is currently awaiting approval of its Supervision of Development Plan ("SDP") from the Central Commission of Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of Kazakhstan ("MEMR"). The SDP, which has previously been approved by the Atyrau Regional Inspector and received the necessary positive opinion from the independent expert, has been tabled at the February meeting of the Central Commission of MEMR and the Company awaits the protocol from this meeting."

Must be a hell of a meeting. 2 months on and the 'awaited protocol' still not received.

Anyone manage to track down Vitoriano Serri Oil Company? Strange that a web search doesn't flag up the company.

Any assistance would be appreciated. I'd like to know what the liar Masterman is up to

Still no news on production resuming. How many weeks now?

Why haven't the company referred to the US acquisition on their website?

GC - most likely another jam tomorrow exercise from Masterman - had to laugh thou @LSB yesterday it went up to 17/18 from 6 when I posted here (post 27221-17apr) today its down to 8.5 - may go higher tomorrow as it closed with an after hrs trade for 4.6m shares @11 - not a ramp but, lol why can't CSH do that it could help a guy to recover his losses...

Loads of oil In the Bakersfield area.
Only one problem is the rock formations below, making it notoriosly difficult to drill. And therefore can be quite costly.

Probably just another Masterman scam anyway!

Todays Telegraph carries a story that the Kazakstan Government will levy an oil export duty of $109.91 per tonne (7.6 barrels) on exports from new fields starting May 18th. Is this good news in that the Government has decided how much it can extract from producers without killing the hens that lay the golden eggs, and that now this might free up the license situation ? I don't know, but some comment from the company would be helpful.

Most of team are locals are far as I can see, but you need the right locals, as I think Afren demonstrates.

Dom - don't knock it yesterday's ramp gave me exit with a smaller loss from this dogs breakfast - check out LSB been on the march the last couple of days and the AGM is due 23/04 which will report progress regarding asset sales and the financing position - @6p it's a steal imho but DYOR

The problem is that as I understand it Masterman is absent from Kazakstan for most of the time, and the singular failure here is the absence of control of the local situation. Any other right-minded company would have had locals on the board that were influential enough to sort out the license problems. This comes down to a basic failure of management.

There is also a tremendous failure in communications. What did yesterday's RNS tell us ? Nothing ?

If the failure is basic management and communications, what hope is there for an American adventure ?

How much did they pay for the license? What are the drill requirements? How deep are the wells?

Most importantly of all, how are they going to fund the drilling??????????????

C2B......I think you are probably close to the mark with your assessment of Kazakhstan..I think the market has written in worst possible, and that is no licence.if they do get the licence all well and good...USA is a different animal when it comes to how they treat small oilers and I think this is where the best hope for the co is..Time will tell.

I for one am not bothered where they drill, they can drill in my back yard if they like, just so long as I get my money back, maybe this news will help us get a bit of profit. good luck to all

Will it play out this way - The Kazhakstan Govt rescinds the licenses thus triggering all those 1p options, and the remains gets sold to a local who strangely won't have any trouble at all with production permits and export quotas. Zengeldy is worth something, after all it can pump reasonable quantities of oil. The proceeds then become the stake money for the American Adventure. The question is after yet more dilution with another share issue to which existing share holders might possibly not be invited, what will be left ??

SER are there, but listed under TEG Oil & Gas, which is their subsidary in California.

It is the official California government website, so should be fairly up to date and accurate I would have thought.
