19/10/2007 14:31 | ...........overzeal - how hilarious. Take it you are talking about NRK? | smelgy
17/10/2007 23:14 | .........there is, of course, the strong possibility of more contract wins announcements before re-listing. So I'm sticking by my original figures. | smelgy
17/10/2007 23:00 | a 1 for 3 rights issue at 50p would only raise about £6.5M. The banks will be pushing for a reduction in debt of at least £50M - and I don't see that the company has the credibility with institutional investors to be able to raise that level of cash. My guess is a D4E swap with about £60M debt swapped for at least 80% of the enlarged capital. Based on those numbers, and a market cap of the restructured group of, say, £100M, the share price would settle back to about 50p - and the banks would pick up a £20M profit on their swap shares. | ![]() daihardtoo
17/10/2007 22:46 | Were there to be any rights issue as you suggest it's difficult for me to see how £1.50 could be justified. A return to the presuspension price in the longer term maybe but I suspect this will be in the doldrums for some time to come. | esmerelda
17/10/2007 22:21 | .......think we will see a re-listing at around 70-80p. Then a rise from there given the contract news. A strong possibility of a 1 for 3 rights issue around 50p, and then a long settling down of the share price and a gradual rise to around £1.50p. The company is sound with contracts under it's belt, but needs short-term financing. Rights issues are always cheaper than begging to banks for funding, especially given the current credit crunch, which in my opinion won't last that long. Central banks will see to that by gradually lowering interest rates as important elections are not that far off, both here and on the other side of the pond. | smelgy

17/10/2007 20:04 | So... we've only heard the good news today... adittedly unexpected IMHO. Now... We have been told there are bad news to come and I'd be damned if they're not going to surface soon.. that "Equity issue" and "renegociating banking facilities" sounds to me like they're going to leave shareholders quite screwed after all is said and done... My bet is bad news will be anounced the 18th (tomorrow) or at latest 19th oct. And although they might try to soften the blow with a CEO anouncement at the same time as the swap for equity (1 for 3 anyone?)....and a "ooops our accounts were a bit wrong, but we might almost break even this year...." All this of course without any real knowledge and pure speculation.... Call it a hunch... I do hope I'm wrong tho... Good luck to all! GTA. | ![]() gta5
17/10/2007 19:38 | looks like the crooks? in charge have deliberately made the figures look bad...you can't go from being very bullish to very bearish in the space of a few weeks.... Phil Carter, Group Chief Executive, commented: "The Group has delivered another good set of results and we are well placed for a strong second half performance. The acquisitions we have made are progressing well and we are experiencing unprecedented levels of bidding and tendering activity which will drive strong organic growth going forward. I remain very excited by the prospects for the Group as we continue with our strategy to build the leading private education business in the UK" | nakedshorter
17/10/2007 19:31 | This company is ripe for a buy out by Capita (IMHO) | ![]() trickyboyfish
