03/10/2007 00:05 | Cawky you any other short targets that haven't collapsed yet?? LOL- If he is trying to sell on a bet at 35p, I think he has missed the boat as well. Spreadfair is hardly a healthy audience to stock buyers. If it was then shares should be still tradable bankrupt or not. To be honest there should be a UK pink sheets at least stockholders would know where they stand. | cheltspy
02/10/2007 23:45 | What are you on? | temporarily insane
02/10/2007 20:19 | This company is goosed and the big vulture "Capita" will be there, straight after the liquidators have cleared up all the loose ends, to clean off the remains of its carcass. IMHO | trickyboyfish
02/10/2007 17:47 | Had a look at the jan07 interims. Why oh why can cos report accounting profits yet can't generate a penny of cash. | not manu
02/10/2007 17:30 | Cawky you any other short targets that haven't collapsed yet?? | dave leach
02/10/2007 17:29 | richardbonny, I am trying to sell more CART on Spreadfair's suspended stocks page at 35p. No bites. I think CART is bust. Simon Cawkwell | simon cawkwell

02/10/2007 17:08 | Simon Cawkwell - are you a buyer or seller at the 50p you refer to? It looks bust to me. | richardbonny
02/10/2007 17:00 | Darker & darker at Carter & Carter... | andyderbys
02/10/2007 16:53 | Hmmm.... I cant say that anyone is too happy at this point... what does surprise me is the recent acquisition, the sudden drop 2 weeks ago with the clarification that C&C had no knowledge of reasons for the drop.... And today they drop a bomb basically saying that they have no idea where they stand financially....and that's after months negotiating with the banks... WTF??!?!?! No doubt we as shareholders are in for a bad deal.. regardless of the next move... but how is this possible?? where does first financial fit into all this? Thoughts? GTA. | gta5
02/10/2007 16:37 | I bet Mrs Carter aint too happy. | bustedflush1
02/10/2007 16:27 | 8.5 million or 10 million, doesn't make a lot of odds if the debt is hundreds of million. | egoi
02/10/2007 16:26 | I am led to believe that the profit figure is more like £8.5 million rather than the expected £10 million. | bustedflush1
02/10/2007 16:10 | You see I am a glass half full sort of person ;-) | sarahbudd
02/10/2007 15:53 | .......admitted things don't look that good, but they aren't suddenly going to announce they've made no profits at all. There is a warning that it won't be £10m. One has to be optimistic in life. If it's kerput then it's kerput. Probably worse to be an employee than a shareholder in the long run. | smelgy
02/10/2007 15:53 | You can currently buy these on the grey market at 35p at £100pp | marycurer
02/10/2007 15:43 | As far as likely scenarios go, that one is way down on the list... | davius
02/10/2007 15:40 | Dream on Sarah. | monte1
02/10/2007 15:39 | Just a thought........ any chance that they wanted suspension so that there wasn't immediate land slide like there was before and that they may come back with new funding, new CEO and everything in the garden rosy?:-/ | sarahbudd
02/10/2007 14:33 | "negotiating with the banks" - I presume that is a euphinism for 'begging'. Probably chained himself to the counter and refusing to move until they get a loan. Oh oh here comes security with the bolt cutters. | monte1
02/10/2007 14:30 | I think I said at one point these were either worth £3 or 50p - and was derided. looks like 50p. I'll admit I was long at about 85p for a while; it rose to 120 - I hung on - then Bang - down through the stop and out. c'est la vie | markie7
02/10/2007 14:24 | Smelgy. How can you put a positive spin on todays news, its disasterous. Temp Insane, you must have been insane to buy 10k worth of these. I would say you have probably lost the lot old chap. I cant ever see these coming back to mkt, if the do they will be more like at 20-30p. Hope that helps.!!! | topinfo |
