But looking at recent reports the ship was already turned and looks to be just coming out of the storm.

I guess as others have said, the new CEO has bad news for employees with further redundancies & exit of the living wage, so from a PR perspective, it wont do him any harm to reverse back into the storm and let the blue sky's be revealed at a later date. But this cant last long as I'm sure he knows that companies signings long term contracts need to believe the company with be around in 10 years time and last years order book seems to suggest that many clients believe it will and I'm sure they have performed their due diligence.

No point in hiding the facts !!Be straight with the markets !!And start afresh. That's exactly what CEO is doing. If he can turn the ship round then it's an amazing opportunity to buy and tuck away.

I agree the results looked bad, but what were the surprises in them?

What has really changed since the Positive Spin announcement in December by the outgoing CEO director causing the price to rise to 22p

to the
Negative - Lets Clear the Cobwebs and make it look like its all me, announcement of the incoming CEO

I think the next announcement will be a little bit more upbeat about the future prospects and the progress made.

I must say I watched the Yellowstone Q&A and wasn't impressed I hope whats put in practice, is better than the presentation skills.

MK Cap too low compared to Turnover - Also Profit Next Year - Cash Covered until 2025 - Can see it going up.

On the short explanation which some people think may go lower. The short interest presently from Worldquant Llc which was 0.49% a while ago and Marshall Wace Llp have only risen 0.04% over 3 weeks. Their position was taken up before the trading update.

To say millions have been added over the past 3 weeks is a misconception and misleading fact. The share price has fallen and some people have slightly increased on the off chance it may fall lower.

With A. I Amelia Ar have been mentioned and the CEO does have contacts within the community that he can call on and implement quickly. I have mentioned this in past posts and just a bit of research on the CEO.

Yes, who hasn’t, it’s been around for 20 years, the vast majority of companies are probably using it to some extent or other I expect. What’s your point heatseeker, it’s certainly nothing unique to capita.

Look at the share price of capita 7 years ago which has done better? In the meantime Serco make money, pay a dividend, are a global company, no reliance on private sector, are concentrated on the current growth areas of outsourcing, as for not using AI link below shows just one recent example. Capita can shout about how ai is going to change things, it’s already changing things for Serco. Capita can shout about becoming a global company Serco already are, capita are still fighting fires, will they ever put them out, market doesn’t think so. Go on believing the spin of CEO’s being paid millions a year, the last ceo was apparently the turnaround king, now we have a new king who’s reputation will likely be trashed trying to save this zombie company.

Personally don't put serco and capita in the same bag, serco mainly labour intensive MiJ moving inmates, prisons management, facilities, dtsl (ok that one bit more tech based) military is pretty much moving kit and people, running / cleaning trains 🤣 you get where I'm going yah?
They both have large government contracts 👍🏻

Fact, there are 2 shorters that increased in the last month, both betting over £1m against capita, even whilst it is sitting at 30 years low. Too me that suggests they think this is going lower, otherwise why increase their short? We don’t know who else might be building short positions here.
