Overview Capita 2023/24 going forward-

The company said it would take cost-cutting measures worth about 100 million pounds (about $127 million) after it reported a loss before tax of 106.6 million pounds for 2023, compared to a profit of 61.4 million pounds a year earlier. This reduces employee numbers below 35,000 thousand maybe more to follow with A. I becoming more embedded.

Capita projection 2024 revenue is expected to be broadly in line with 2023 but with A. I implementation and probably more contract wins in the coming year the outlook may be above the 2024 guidance.

Funding agreement with Pension Trustees - £30m reduction in deficit contributions by 2025 which may lead to Pension being sold off to an independent provider if in surplus.

Cost savings across the group will lead to the debt slowly being paid off in the coming 3/5 years with a return to profit in mid-2025.

These are only projections and some research and reading the update.

Adolfo Hernandez through February 2024 visited the group within the UK and did a post on Linkedin which I suggested was a simply get to know the people and say the right things.

CEO is now on a course to reduce costs and make Capita more in line with Tech companies within the USA. His knowledge and partnerships will bear fruit in the coming year. The turnaround may be quicker than people realize.

The Capital Market in June will show how the company has already moved quickly to implement A.1. within the company.

My position is to hold but on a side note in December 2023 the Article suggested a P.E was interested and would wait on the out from March 2024. The CEO has made the right choices for the company moving forward.
