Judging by the mess it was left in by previous chief, some time, they were far too generous with dividends, using a high valuation to justify payouts. But the last guy was clearly incompetent and asleep at the wheel!

No position but it's loss making with £1431 million in debt, -ve working capital.

How much time do you think that needs to sort?

Since the results this has been absolutely hammered, it is in a process of turnaround, not helped by coronavirus, however it gives them an opportunity to accelerate the process. However they are a company that provides services that are essential, problem before was underinvestment, that takes time to sort out! But Lewis is likely the right man, scribes simply impatient!

Why would it be a nice top-up in low thirties, that would certainly be a signal not to buy the stock, you buy on strength, not weakness!

might stay out,

They say its doing a Bearish Meeting The Line today

"There isn’t any pattern detected since the last signal, so the current SELL signal is effective. All you have to do is to wait for a new pattern."

(& we are waiting for a new pattern, aren't we!)

I know what you’re trying to do malc (I used to do your job), but we’re ‘strong hands’ here, so save yourself some time and go post on a less informed forum.

Agree, my guess is the production could be called "Carry on up the AGM" story going: Covid made things unclear, but progress has been promising! more time needed! for wins come through & perhaps more money. Oh & group needs restructuring to reduce layers of management but sadly undermining comparability with past operational results, followed by disappointment at HE or YE when costs run away with a not unreasonable operating result. The end.

Last trading update pretty awful, irrespective of coronavirus, doubt there will be much joy, but a lot of contracts and order book extensive, all about generating cash and being able to service clients. Do not see much change, but Lewis seemed pretty exasperated with market response to Feb. results. Clearly much changed since then but he must seem hopeful of a firm improvement down the line despite all else believing this is on its last legs!

LOL. Always a lumpy ride up or down. This will either explode and gap up to the £1 - £1.50 range or crash and burn if the update is bad. There is lots of money chasing momentum at the moment, so if the update is good, it may well over-correct on the upside. On the other hand if it is bad, it will be overly punished. Tricky times but reflects the greed and fear dynamic of the stock market very well.
