Invirtu site.

Is this new, or has it had a recent facelift? It looks pretty good and I like the "Buy Now" links to shopping sites (including Boots).

Just need the publicity to increase awareness of the brand and get potential customers to the site ...

A start perhaps, although I doubt many would-be investors are following the byotrol twitter feed. There should be a really good story to tell to investors and potential investors around Turtle Wax and MoveClean I would have thought. As well as around Actizone's initial progress in Indonesia, Malaysia and...

Perhaps just too early at the moment. Presumably we will get some sort of TU towards the end of the FY, if no announcement on a further licensing agreement before then. The IRI agreement has quarterly royalty payments, so byotrol could choose to put something out around the receipt of a quarterly payment, if only to acknowledge that they have received one and that it contains proceeds from the TW & MoveClean arrangements. They might be able to disclose that they expect, or don't expect, payments for the current royalty year to exceed the minimum guaranteed amount. They might also be able to say something about the nature of the TW retail deal - is it supply or sub-licensing by IRI (i.e. who does the manufacturing?) and if it is sub-licensing, does that qualify for different royalty treatment (higher %) than a supply deal would?

I'll put up my hand for the 200k share purchase yesterday, but that was my first purchase since 7th January. I'm nearly back to the maximum shareholding I've had in byotrol so I'm trying to be a bit more selective about further purchases now. I started buying back in late September after some profit-taking following the Midas spike.

Re read the results last night. If we can get two royalty fee streams in for several million pounds have our own rest of world business and develop seaweed I think it looks pretty good.

Looks like O'Reilly might be listing TW soon:

Google search for: turtle wax multi-purpose cleaner and disinfectant o'reilly

brings up listings for both a page and an image on the O'Reilly site, but "page not found" if you click through.

In terms of other businesses/organisations adapting and entering the market.

eg
Look at Virusend. Within a few months, developed, tested, BS marks and already in the shops.
Developed in conjunction with the British Army and used by them across testing centres around the UK.

according to Virusend - is this true - It's the only disinfectant available for home users that is full spectrum bactericide?:

"A breakthrough innovation, VIRUSEND is currently the only disinfectant available to home consumers that is a full spectrum bactericide and proven to eliminate the human strain SARS-CoV-2 Coronavirus (Covid-19 virus). Tested to the stringent BSEN:16777 standard, and developed in conjunction with the British Army (who already use it), this military-standard spray will kill Coronavirus in one minute. Or, to put it in plain English, this clever bottle is what you need at home to zap Coronavirus in 60 seconds flat."

It's jam tomorrow.

We're now in Q4-2021, so only 10weeks until yr end, so too little too late.
Byot should have partnered with Boots and advertised their product. Something like 'Boots antiviral - kills Coronavirus, powered by Byotrol, available at Boots'.

That's basic PR. That simple message would have increased exposure of the Byotrol brand to consumers. They lost the Tesco contract, the trial at Target finished and wasn't extended.

Instead, other companies/organisations have adapted and entered the market.

I wasn't posting that because it was "special or exciting", I was posting to try to explain what was happening. Previously we had seen "out of stock" on Walmart and thanks to football and riddlerone's posts, we could see first that it appeared to be in stock and second that if you changed your location you could get different status reports (out of stock, or limited stock availability).

The Turtle Wax retail roll-out is all largely mechanical now, I think. Exciting for byotrol shareholders perhaps as each step confirms the progress of the roll-out, but probably bog-standard in terms of process.

Walmart - available in some but not all stores, not yet available for delivery
TurtleWax.com - available
AutoZone - available for delivery but doesn't seem to be in-store yet

I would expect as auto stores (at least AutoZone and hopefully others) complete seasonal store resets we should start to see it appearing in more and more outlets. We can also expect it to appear on Amazon.com at some point.

Post #7372 "So they've hooked up walmart.com to the local store inventories and made it [edit] show in-store availability"

That function is nothing new and is used by most businesses it's nothing special or exciting. I mentioned it when checking Boots a year ago.

The fact remains, despite the huge demand for santisers/cleaning during the all important early stage of covid, Byot increased their global consumer sales by only £590k (yes k) for H1-2021, Mar-Sept 2020. That equates to less than avg £100k a month increase over the 6 months.

They managed £997k (ex-royalty & licensing) of global consumer sales!

Consumer:

"H1 revenues more than doubled to £1.01m from £0.41m, including a small amount of IP-based income, versus nil IP income in the comparable period. Gross profit (on products) increased to £0.43m from £0.17m. "
"Elsewhere, sales across existing customers all increased in this segment, especially into Japan via our longstanding agents in pet and healthcare."

See Segmental analysis

I mentioned the postcode/store checking a year ago - before the March lockdown.

Boots, Out of stock online for over 3 weeks now.

Check the UK Capital Cities:
London - NO stores with stock
Cardiff - 1 store 12m away in Blackwood
Edinburgh - NO stores with stock
Belfast - 1 store over 7m away in Lisburn

However, search Superdrug stores for 'hand sanitiser' returns 100ml bottles for £1.25 and BOGOF (Buy 1 Get 1 Free)!!
Check the 4 UK Capital Cities and stores have it in stock.
