I always post a marker in every single prediction I make online whether its a buy or sell.

Right now Bur is what £8.30 mid.

In a years time it will still be around £8.30 mid.


Thats it.

It's over.

Trust has gone ......FOREVER.

The share price is closer to fair value.

In future, everyone will look at this "FORENSICALLY"

And it will be covered in small circular bruises the size of a 50p piece where the BARGEPOLE has been poking it.

Its going to go to sleep in this range.

Given size when they listed don't think it was an error Though they should have listed elsewhere 2-3 years ago

dj, do you think BUR made a mere error in listing on AIM, or do you think the principals of the enterprise were aware of what you describe (rightly, in my opinion) as "a pretty common quality displayed here, ignorance.Knowing almost nothing,they'll believe anything"?

I don't pay much attention to this BB anymore.I've filtered roughly 90% of the posters on here,for the usual reasons;spivs ,shorters,scallywags,men (and women,I presume)of straw.They prey on a pretty common quality displayed here, ignorance.Knowing almost nothing,they'll believe anything.The sooner Burford gets a listing on one of the main markets,the better .Only then, perhaps,we can get more sophisticated (also institutional ) investors on board.Those who will do proper due diligence and then invest based on that research.For the record,I continue,month by month ,to add here,having sold none of my shareholding.

Rather than a divi I would prefer the company use any excess cash to buy back some shares.

Yup, agree... Upside: 1.6% short position means the equivalient of around 25% of the last known Woodford holding has to be mopped up at some point!

That equates to about 9million in value. i didn’t check every day but one day there was a 2 million sell so that was probably part of that 9 million. Must be backing a drop based on the woodford stuff. Hope there is a bulk buyer or blackrock keep them.

Couple of places reporting that short interest is up to 1.6% from 1.08%.
Short tracker shows it as Philadelphia Financial Management of San Francisco with a new short position of 0.52% on the 17th.
Some of the price movements in the last few days seem to make a bit more sense now.
