The obvious solution is to get a Nasdaq listing, buy back the Woodford shares and sell them to US investors. That will be easier to achieve once Woodford is actually fired.

Actually, they still have to wait until January for their money it seems. Does that also mean they have to keep paying fund fees until then too? Yes, I would be pretty unhappy if I were in their shoes, but perhaps they just want closure now?
I would love to know how negotiations go on behind closed doors in a situation like this, where the sellers and potential buyers are both looking for the best deal they can get, and so many different permutations in play.
For Burford holders, hopefully this also means we have plenty of time for more good news to offset any downside to this situation in the run in to January.

Hopefully they are in discussions to do so, or perhaps they can attract a new institutional investor at a small discounted rate, say 700 per share? Or is that too optimistic/pessimistic?
Either way, annoying in the short term at least, and my buy the other day in the mid 700's not looking too smart now. That said, I am glad for those who are going to get their money back from the Woodford fund now. I never understood how they had to keep paying a fee without being able to access their shares and vote with their feet if they so chose. Bad practice that IMO, and might put a lot of new people off investing in funds for years to come.

Not until Jan but the markets will punish Woodford stocks, BUR cannot seem to gain any traction upwards currently 777p the favourite number from the Bots.

I think Donald Pond is right. As long as they do not report more frequently, we can observe mispricing like that. Share price should be at least double the current level.
