Because people like you are still managing to achieve their objectives of sowing doubt in people's minds through a variety of tactics, but sooner or later I expect that the nervousness will pass

Devalpha, I completely agree, was thinking the same myself - at some point people are going to start waking up to the fact that all the allegations have been nicely batted away and there is just nothing left, they are still trying to look around for more, as TW says on his bearcast, the "bear community" (what a phrase!) will be looking carefully to find more cases (I think he was talking about where Burford received payment in kind) - they are just regurgutating old stories as if they are new scoops, repeating conjecture as fact and making increasingly absurd complaints, sooner or later people will get that.

This too shall pass.......The question is, when? The market's waiting on the next RNS from Burford, alluded to during the last one on Monday.Every response so far from Burford to the MW short attacks has been calm and clear, and I suspect the next RNS will be likewise, but with more detail on accounting reasoning and clarity.Just remember, anything can happen in markets...anything. We've all experienced that in the last few weeks. Negative sentiment can however rapidly change to positive if rambling accusations are calmly batted away with reasoned factually correct responses.Block and co fumbling from tweet to tweet while Bogart & Molot work diligently in the background.Good luck to all long term holders and anyone with a genuine interest. This too shall pass..........just give it time.

I personally think there should be jail sentences/or large fines for people that claim a company is doing fraud.

It is the equivalent of me publicly defaming another person. Imagine I constantly advertised Mr. Smith was conducting fraud. As a result Mr. Smith then lost his job, lost his house, etc. That would be character defamation.

If you want to make such a strong accusation of fraud then by all means go ahead, but make sure you have enough evidence to back up your claim and the evidence will stand up in a court of law. Because at the end of the day people like you are wiping out the profits of pensioners who are diligently saving for retirement. You are not on their side.

In this country and our legal system stands by the fact that you are completely innocent until proven guilty.

So there we have it. After hundreds of posts about Napo over a period of over two weeks, SweetK has now realised she was wrong, and has now started banging on about a completely different point, namely a lack of RNSs about class actions!!!
How about admitting your 99.9% confidence in your story was wrong SweetK?? Maybe it’s you that needs to develop your critical analysis skills?? Maybe it was you all along that was suffering from confirmation bias??

sk, "Did someone hold a gun to Lisa Conte's head as STB did in 2009 with Epicentre?" It's hard to think of any commercial reason why Napo/Conte would sign up to such a funding deal with BUR. Either gun to the head and utter desperation or some other incentive (currently unknown) that might make sense of the behaviour.

He's a minnow desperately trying to make a name for himself off the back of other people's (flawed) work. Want's to be more than the court jester of a small subsection of the City.
