17/11/2004 14:04 | Churchtower - I have calculated my breakeven point at 647.25p Therefore, if I see anything above 650 today, then I shall grab the money and run. He who cashes in and runs away has funds to invest another day! Happy investing to you ;) | aos
17/11/2004 13:59 | AOS - Good luck to you - braver man than me. I would only suggest that if you can take it up to about 665 I would then be inclined to close out your position. I somehow doubt that it will get that far, but have been wrong on too many occasions to speak with any authority. | churchtower
17/11/2004 13:11 | Churchtower - I took my Xmas bonus last week, courtesy of a share price dip followed by an almost immediate recovery. I have decided to get back in again at 643.42. I am hoping that the 10p drop is the last and that we will see an upswing this afternoon once Wall Street opens, which seems forecast after yesterday's sell-off. I think also that the news of the US retailers Sears, Kmart merger may have some upwards effect on retailers. I might be wrong, but 'fingers crossed'. Happy investing to you ;) | aos
17/11/2004 13:00 | FTSE up 20 - BOOTS down 10. Draw your own conclusion. | churchtower
17/11/2004 11:52 | Just got an email, looks like dixons are reporting that customers are rather shy this year, as in there not turning up. High street footfall is not what it should be and retailers make most of there profit around this time of year. | jedi shorter
17/11/2004 09:57 | Gone short, may be slightly premature but have got the March expiry so happy to sit and watch the inevitable decline. | churchtower
17/11/2004 09:51 | cant see it bounce today. 625p short term target | psps
17/11/2004 09:44 | could bounce about a bit today, interesting watching something like this in its death throws. | jedi shorter
17/11/2004 09:42 | There she goes. If it fails to rally and hold above 650 then I will go short. | churchtower
16/11/2004 18:37 | yes-640 next support level as these have been the last 2 main lows then onto 630 | money4me
16/11/2004 10:42 | JS - I think you are right, we may see a bit of a bounce but much will depend on how high that goes. Anthing less than 668 will signal that this downtrend is going to continue. | churchtower
16/11/2004 10:28 | I think if 648 is breached then a March 05 target of 525 must be considered. I shall certainly go short once this support level fails. | churchtower
16/11/2004 10:28 | wey hey sounds good to me ..............625p | psps
16/11/2004 10:25 | This is going to go lower, I am looking at 6.25 at least | cambium
16/11/2004 10:22 | i anit buying yet going down to 640p ish me thinks | psps
16/11/2004 10:19 | Will the anchor hold at 648/650 ? There may be a bounce, but it is not looking good. | churchtower
15/11/2004 14:33 | im tempted to short again but im expecting another bounce albeit this close to xmas a briefer one than last time, then the old support should be broken. | jedi shorter
15/11/2004 13:49 | still not tempted to buy back. my buy target was 650p but i think a will wait foe lower levels | psps
15/11/2004 13:22 | Getting close to that support AGAIN! | eastbourne1982
12/11/2004 22:29 | this is going to turn down-big time | money4me
11/11/2004 16:26 | Churchtower - Boots has just given me my Xmas bonus ;) I sold at 663p and shall wait for the next downturn, if your assessment of the situation is right. Happy investing to you. | aos |
