08/6/2023 08:35 | Spread improving at least 176—172 | linton5
07/6/2023 10:41 | $273 average for 2022, round about $140 so far this year. The drop should be offset to some degree by higher production. £18m mcap seems way too cheap to me. | gaffer73
07/6/2023 08:54 | Just a question, with a high coal price came enormous profits, what happens now the coal price is basically plunging back to pre war levels, still about double that level but down maybe 75% ish from the crazy highs, does that mean Bisi profits will plunge too ?? | dave4545
07/6/2023 07:59 | I’d buy these but spread putting me off 170 178nah | linton5

04/5/2023 12:16 | IMO, the market is correct about BISI. There is nothing here for its shareholders (except an occasional derisory dividend) - the board have a stranglehold on this company, and they act only in their own interest. It should also be noted that "brother company" LAS is in some serious trouble in the medium term, so I expect BISI funds to be used (i.e. wasted) on propping that up. As for last year's profits, that was a one-off freak event. IMO, 150p is "about right" for this dreadful mess of a company. | tigerbythetail
04/5/2023 10:21 | I never expected this to go sub £2 with those results! | gaffer73
04/5/2023 09:47 | So why are you here? | robizm

03/5/2023 22:10 | Yes fair play no argument from me still disappointing though had hoped that things would change have held to long and become attached | bisiboy
03/5/2023 07:26 | Bisiboy, you have been here a long time so i am surprised that you bang on about/still hope to receive any information on equity investments. I replied to you on this 6-9 months ago. You will never get this level of disclosure from BISI. This stock is valued at this price because of minimal disclosure, illiquidity, poor historic governance and questionable director renumeration/directo | rimau1
01/5/2023 21:18 | Very good and valid points Tim. Still not sure what might lead the share price higher would like some more details around investments and why make these ahead of higher distributions to shareholders | bisiboy
28/4/2023 14:51 | It’s true that Director salaries are too high. In 2022 compared with 2021, an additional £7mn went into capex (most likely a one-off due to the change in mining areas); £7mn went into additional equity investments; and £7mn went into increased cash holdings. These figures are net of all costs, ie they reflect increased cashflow from operations. By contrast, increased cash payments to Directors were £2mn. | tim000
28/4/2023 14:41 | Most of the cash went on paying the directors millions in salary in bonuses hence why you do not see a large cash position. No wonder people are using the liquidity to dump it. | blueclyde
28/4/2023 12:17 | Just to point out that LAS is "a UK publicly listed company". All in all, the complex inter-relationship between LAS and BISI makes this a very dangerous share to invest in. If we get a stagflationary recession (IMO, quite likely) then LAS's entire future could be in doubt. Who is to say BISI won't become its lender of last resort? | tigerbythetail
28/4/2023 11:11 | Somebody has just sold at 243p blimey. Weird those 307.7p sales was the highest price traded, seems like the mm's thought they could buy it up and sell it higher but then got hit with 5000 sales and then the selling continued and now it's down. | dave4545
28/4/2023 10:49 | Sensational set of results! Share price would be £20 under different management. £4.49m in director salaries + bonuses vs £1.5m in ordinary dividends and a £0.8m special dividend. I wonder what the £12.59m in 'other investments' is? The notes simply say £6.78m in UK listed companies, £5.8m in overseas listed companies. It's probably a good idea to use cash this way - but need to be careful where they invest. They'd want to avoid a BISI type share where management > shareholders. | bozzy_s
28/4/2023 10:16 | The directors' salaries and bonuses are ludicrous. Added to that the total lack of transparency around investments, makes this uninvestable for me. | jon4567 |
