Sensational set of results!

Share price would be £20 under different management.

£4.49m in director salaries + bonuses vs £1.5m in ordinary dividends and a £0.8m special dividend.

I wonder what the £12.59m in 'other investments' is? The notes simply say £6.78m in UK listed companies, £5.8m in overseas listed companies.

It's probably a good idea to use cash this way - but need to be careful where they invest. They'd want to avoid a BISI type share where management > shareholders.

The directors' salaries and bonuses are ludicrous. Added to that the total lack of transparency around investments, makes this uninvestable for me.

LAS results are out as well, for what it's worth. They're pretty horrible. Gearing way too high for a rising interest rate environment.
As for BISI, the dividend alone doesn't really justify holding these shares. And almost everything else about the stock - coal, South Africa, director salaries, (lack of) PR - is a negative.

Crazy 50p cheaper to buy already.

I'm guessing in this traders market people do not want to leave their money in stocks that only issue a few RNS's a year despite the mental fundamentals.

These need to do a share split. There'd be much more interest if the share price was 29p.

Results as expected, mine output is recovering and even though export coal price is down its still pretty good for Bisi.Dividend a bit stingy but there we go.Bisichi market cap circa 30 million,Ben creek market cap 60million.Strange old game this stockmarket. As always GLA

HL for them this morning.

When it touched 300-310 it was 307p to buy and 307.7p to sell so I thought I'd take it.

Probably means somebody paid 310p or higher before that. Be a few delayed trades at the open for sure.

Who do you trade with? share price hasn't even hit 307p

Must be a lot of delayed trades to show over 1500

I'd be buying back at 280p but it's NT to buy.

Well I bought 2500 at 287p and sold them again for 307.5p clearly delayed.

Held about 3-4 mins and made £460 so I'm happy with that.

This should be 500p+ going off those results. Hopefully the results and divi will attract some investors.

See note 19. Trade payables mostly. Also an increase in tax due to profits.

There's your £40m. Very good, divi up, trying to increase production to offset drop in coal price.

Dave I think it means at year end date there were increased tax liability yet to be paid plus extra money owed to suppliers at year end over and above what was owed to suppliers the previous year.

I do not understand this but I'm not a accountant so perhaps somebody else will.

They made all this money and all this cashflow which is stunning then they say this

Liabilities increased from £20.3million to £28.2million during the year primarily due to an increase in trade and other payables from £10.7million to £13.3million as well as an increase in tax payable from £0.7million to £4.3million.

Perhaps somebody can explain this to me

Very solid results, financial investments and net cash look to be nearly 2/3's of current mkt cap, could have been a little more generous with div.

I can't see why we wouldn't have, coal prices stayed high all year.

Be funny if they repeated the same second half.

Be a £27 mil stock issuing profits of £40 mil never seen that before.

Clearly the shares are saying it's not as crazy as that but for value there's probably nothing else around that gets close so long as they make another profit H2

Judging by history, next week would be normal; last year was unusually early. I think the interims were released after 7am, so the Finals could be released any time over the next week.
