11/5/2008 06:31 | Bham relegation party this afternoon boys. I am a blue nose and will make the best of it. Fingers crossed WBA pulled off a miracle a couple of years back. Stranger things have happened. Depends if agent Ridgewell decideds to play for us along with bumbling Mike Taylor and ageing Jaidi. No Defence all season, but still in with a shout. McLeish makes all the right noises at press conferences and in interviews, but he needs to start delivering. Bitter / sweet seen as Bruce as done a better job at Wigan. McLeish's job here has been average at best. Keep Right On. JW | ![]() joey wilson
11/5/2008 06:12 | good luck to the blue boys today we need it.. keep right on | ![]() tonyhicken

30/4/2008 08:36 | yes im nervous too! | bluenose851
22/4/2008 06:59 | oh ye of little faith!! It will be hard but as an ardant blues fan we will do it just about. These games with nothing to play for are usually the hardest, but I do wish we could play spurs again!! 6points from them this year. Come on you Blues!! | bluenose851
21/4/2008 16:52 | AndyAsh I think we should try and bring Spurs Ian's back on this thread for his view. Because from what I have seen of Spurs they are just going through the motions at present. But sadly for Birmingham Spurs have to play Bolton and Reading! I hate to say it but I will stick my neck out and say they are down, hence why I didn't try to get some more shares today. I would love to be proved wrong but Birmingham's away performances have bothered me all season. So I then look at the home games Liverpool, 2nd string or not may be too strong as Fulham found out and Blackburn could still be chasing points for UEFA. I do agree 5 points will be enough but where are they coming from? | ![]() a44
20/4/2008 17:06 | it looks like curtains after todays result for the blue boys..sp to fall by at least 10% tomorrow if not more.. regards | ![]() tonyhicken
16/4/2008 14:12 | They have beaten Bolton (thank god!) and then a team that is already relegated and has nothing to play for....pride went after the first goal went in. We will win on Sunday, and thats great for our pride and for retaining premiership status. We do have to play Fulham which is a banana skin, we always seem to do better against the better teams. I will watching from sunny Spain but will be there is spirit, and I dont mean how much I will drink that day! | bluenose851
15/4/2008 15:27 | Well it looks like the market is getting jitters about retaining Premiership status. Bit like I am! Just hoping the boys get three points on Sunday - more important for survival than local pride but it would be nice to get one over the villa as well but am a bit worried about their untimely return to form even if they did do as a favour by stuffing Bolton! | andyash
10/4/2008 14:21 | The Grandtop announcement may mean that they have raised the money to complete the deal - they may want to wait until they are beyond the 12 month rule so they can move at a lower price than last time. Not sure G&S would accept a lower bid if they are still in Prem. | reels
10/4/2008 14:18 | Very strange! Clearly the market has taken it in it's stride as the share price remains unmoved! Can't see why they asked for the suspension really. | andyash
10/4/2008 13:21 | Well BMC are back see RNS (If you have access to one). So why Grandtop next? | ![]() a44
10/4/2008 13:07 | Interestingly it seems that Grandtop shares were suspended BEFORE the formal announcement of the BMC suspension. By my reckoning Hong Kong is 7 hours ahead of the UK so this suspension was made at 3am ish UK time assuming that the time on the announcement is local time. It could still be that they took the decision to suspend due to the arrests or it could have nothing to do with the suspension of the BMC shares but it seems more likely to be due to potential takeover activity of either BMC (or possibly Grandtop). I really don't think these arrests should warrant a suspension of the companies shares unless something else is also happening that is related. | andyash
10/4/2008 12:50 | This is very strange. Even stranger is that equal partners, the gold brothers, were not arrested too. I think will be the straw that breaks the camels back. I think Grandtop were suspended because Blues were and there was no proper information to keep the shareholders informed. | bluenose851
10/4/2008 12:31 | Bluenose hoping you are right especially as Grandtop suspended. Seems odd to do all on the same day though? | ![]() a44
10/4/2008 12:26 | i think there is more to it than that. Still think gold will announce he has bought out sullivan, | bluenose851
10/4/2008 11:58 | Reported on SKY that realtes to agent payments 2002/2003 and that directors deny any wrong doing or knowledge. I though first time reported that the statement also mentioned would have little affect on BMC so why no official notice. Now released see: So why still suspended or I am too quick off the mark? | ![]() a44
10/4/2008 09:17 | I'm thinking the same thing - Good news for us shareholders if that is the case though as I'm sure that one of Gold's recent transactions was at 60p+ which means (I think) that he can't offer less than that if he does make a bid. | andyash |
