Small volumes - so MM taking advantage. Spoke to friend in football and he said next years funds from TV look very strong. Advertisers like Football in the downturn. Surely, the land is worth more than Mkt Cap. No Debt!

mryesyes - They cannot delist as Yeung has over 25%... the only way out is a bid... would have to be north of 50p to make Yeung interested!

they can delist at anytime, only their holdings are worth anything then

IanDippie - very strange - it went up to 40p two weeks ago and now sitting very low. I was hoping for a 45p price. Might just have to hang on (again) until some buyer comes along - how likely that is I really don't know.

Yeung still has 30% of the shares so any buyer has to contend with that.

Gold has sold some other interests in other companies so he might be looking to take more of a backseat and might be willing to sell the club.

The realistic chances of doing amazing well (finishing in the top half of the Premier League) look very remote whereas the chance of struggling at the bottom of the table looks very real.

So - I guess I will have to wait for a bid or something else to make this a good investment.

So now they have been promoted, the share price is less than it was before promotion was sewn up. Go figure....

Yeah. I heard the Curbs one from someone I know within the club. SOunded like it was quite definate. Saw ferguson mentioned in the press today along with Kris Boyg, Bhougere (or whatever it is) etc etc. I am sure we will get associated with all the aging players of yestayear now!!!

placed an order on the phone, very difficult to get hold of any though, the MM's must be very short, but doing their best to hold the share price back, wont be long before they have to let it go much higher, to try and entice some sellers..

Tobacco smoke hung unhealthily in the stuffy damp air.
The discolouring of the anaglyptor clad walls and cracked ceiling, coupled with the stink of the soft furnishings, bore testament to this being ever thus...
Stuttering from defeat to scrambled draw, from defeat to scrambled draw, the demise of his charges had taken its toll on the Irishman.
His pitiful head had assumed a permanently bowed aspect, his complexion, vexed, downcast and wrinkled. His narrow beady eyes, blood shot, tired and withdrawn...

Martin proceeded to unbutton his shirt, stumbled to the cabinet and poured his fourth large whiskey in an hour. He slumped back down in his flee-ridden chair.
His eyes briefly closed and his teeth briefly barred, as the fourth shot readily followed the previous three.
Some pristine, sassy bird was 'all smiles' on was Sky Sports News (the very antithesis of his sepulchral demeanor). He found the remote and used it to extinguish the torment, before letting it slip through boney figures to the litter-strewn, thread-bare, claret stained carpet.
The small relief of silence, mingled with the pressing gloom of loneliness and despair. His eye-lids grew heavy, day-light surrendered beneath the weight.

He woke with a start.
What was that? Something intangible yet monumental somewhere had happened. Martin could feel it in his brittle-bones.
Was it he or the room that was shaking?

Martin moved to the window and peered nervously through the grimey pane. The sky was eerily Royal Blue.
The shaking intensified, Martin re-coiled into his chair.
Wide-eyed now, he murmured...

"My God, They're coming..."

Gold interviewed on Radio and real sense of pride and spoke of his club. Maybe they will take it private - he certainly has the money. If it is sold now - will have to be over 50p - so should see a big rise on Tuesday. I have placed my first order whilst market is closed with a max of 45p...
