HB Markets:

Bglobal (BGBL, 35p, £34.89m) has signed a MOU with Samsun C&T Corporation which should lead to the formation of JV to address the opportunity for residential and smart meters for the UK electricity market. The solution to be created will be fully funded, thus removing the capital cost barrier to adoption, and look to exploit energy management opportunities. We maintain the BUY recommendation with an un-altered 59p fair value price target. (Julian Tolley)

I was mulling over weekend whether to sell these today and put the funds into aaam, just goes to show timing is everything in stock picking and when to sell. Not sure this news as been really been understood by the market.

Looking back over Friday trades i reckon most of that volume were buys, had they been sells as ADVFN reported the stock should have been marked down.

LONDON (SHARECAST) - Bglobal is joining forces with Korean giant Samsung to develop a smart meter energy suppliers can use for their UK residential and industrial and commercial customers.

The two firms will establish a joint venture. Samsung will provide this company with smart meters and will work with Bglobal to secure funding to develop a fully funded, rental model for that energy suppliers will able to rent to their residential and commercial customers.

"This is a major step forward for the group and we are extremely honoured that Samsung has chosen us to be its partner to develop a solution which will help to unlock the massive potential this market has to offer. We look forward to working closely with Samsung over the coming months," chief executive Tim Jackson-Smith said.
