£45 would still be a 4.5% yield with 6 years' visibility...
Short answer, in current climate, with no interest rate increases on horizon,
No :-)

"Once the interest rate cycle kicks in"
Ah well, that will apply to all financial investments!

Always amusing to have a comedian on the board! Lol.

Just gotta be patient here, not ready yet, higher it goes the bigger the fall, once the interest rate cycle kicks in you will see the falls.

Dividend Return enhanced from £13.00 to £16.34 per share.
First enhanced part to be paid next month, January 2016 and making 200p per share per year return over next 6 years instead of 180p per share (6% yield at current SP).
Great visibility!

Next few days should be very interesting.
NY Boy - where does your information come from about foreign buyers buying 50% of London new build ? Sources please. I hold TEF and their sales have indicated in the last 12 months where there has been a dramatic drop off in foreign buyers the gap has been more than filled by local demand.

WoW 1000p, that's all the way back to 2011... so, I guess another financial crisis in store!
Yield will then be 18%... brilliant!

NY Boy- hope you haven't shorted into the results. Historically this one has always been strong in the run up.

The second half could face weaker demand as buy-to-let buyers are put off. Overseas buyers have been responsible for about half of new-build purchases in central London and are facing a rising tax burden. From April this year they have to pay 28pc on any gains, and have now been hit with an additional 3pc stamp duty on purchases.

These are an obvious short, down to sub 1000p next year

Agreed. Perhaps get some comment from the company along with the results.

I would have thought that the negative effect of the stamp duty on BTL could be somewhat offset by the London help to buy scheme he announced.
